The property was attractive, warm, clean and compact. It was private and the garden was secure for the dog. The owner was very helpful and we appreciated the lovely cake and eggs. As the weather was very bad and overcast for most of our stay the lighting in the main room was not bright enough to read in comfort . We were not able to take advantage of very local amenities and walks due to the weather conditions so can’t reasonably comment on them. A gorgeous enclosed “secret garden” full of wildlife and colour, and a large deck for dining al fresco during a beautiful sunny week in May! Nik and Dave are warm and welcoming hosts and provided a delicious welcome pack...even treats for our dog! A 15 minute walk to the amazing sandy Instow beach with sparkling views across to pretty Appledore. Ideal location to visit so many beautiful places on offer in North Devon. Loved it...thank you!
