We felt like we stepped directly into paradise from the first moment we set foot at Mi Kasa Tu Kasa. The grounds, nature, and lagoon of course were breathtaking and Mi Kasa Tu Kasa was the perfect place to enjoy it from. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. We enjoyed the restaurant and generous complementary breakfast. The free kayaks and paddle boards were our favorite! Would definitely recommend to a family member or friend for a family or couples getaway.

We came with high expectations due to feedbacks from guests, got a little disappointed with the room, missing a table with chairs and place to put luggage, we had to leave all in the ground, they mentioned the bed is queen size but it is actually Matrimonial size 1.40m wide. Hotel staff very courteous and helpful, communication by WhatsApp with person running the hotel really helps, it is away from town so need a car or arrange taxi for any transportation to downtown. Nice deck to lagoon and breakfast simple but also good. The lagoon is realy nice and it worths the visit.

The property was beautiful. Loved that we could walk up to the laguna and lay out or use the free kayaks or paddle boards. I would say the location isn’t the most ideal to walk to the center of bacalar. You have to drive 5min to get into town. Also, one of the female cooks couldn’t get my order right twice. I ordered the ahi tuna tostadas and she gave fried and oily octopus with plantains on 2 different days. The continental breakfast was free but very small portions. All in all it’s a beautiful place but can be a hassle since you have to drive into town for the sight seeing and food

Fantastic place to stay very relaxing and the team working here are amazing. Lots of great info about Bacalar and really friendly. Having kayaks and paddle boards included was perfect to get out on the lake. Highly recommend going to the pier in the morning to watch the sunrise

Lovely surprise - looks so much better than in pictures. Lush garden property stretching all the way from main road down to the lakeside. The private pier was our personal highlight - did not want to leave after two days! Highly recommended!

The property grounds are nice and the private access to the lagoon is exceptional. The staff is great specially Adrian and Marco at the restaurant. They are super attentive and the food is delicious, we enjoyed every single meal. Only con is the rooms are plain and simple, bed is not so comfortable and wifi service is not the best. However, it’s a nice place if you’re looking to relax and unwind.

A Gem on Lake Bacalar!
Mi Kasa is a secret gem on the shores of Lake Bacalar. The rooms are lovely, the grounds well maintained and the lake is spectacular. Would definitely return!

The hotel designed very nicely, has a very pleasant environment however, the hotel room has only the queen bed nothing else. There wasn’t neither a chair nor a desk to put stuff on or sit and have a little snack. Just a queen bed in the middle, two very small night stands that you can only put your cellphone on. Also, there were a few stains on the bed sheet, I went and mentioned to the person at the front desk, she just said she is sorry. am quite disappointed .

Happy vacation
This place is a paradise. This hotel has only 9 room so they look more like bungalows in the middle of the forest so all enjoy the garden with an open restaurant and direct access to the lake. The rooms are rustic style and they are beautifully decorated. All the staff is very friendly and helpful and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. My friend and I visited from USA and we will definitely stay there again.

We had a great experience at this property. Starting with the staff giving us a great service, and Vanesa the manager was always around making sure we were comfortable and happy. The place was beautiful, surrounded by nature and next to the lake. The room was clean and spacious. The continental breakfast was included and it was also really good. Most relaxing place!!!
Very clean, spacious rooms. We had a private rooftop with chairs and hammock. So quiet and relaxing. Everything was exactly like description. Great pool area and dock for relaxing all day. Vanessa was AWESOME from checkin to suggestions for eating and going out for a drink. Also forgot toothpaste and they had some essentials ready for us. Restaurant staff was also great. AMAZING water for swimming and doing activities in the lake.

The room needed a bit more furniture. There was only a bed a two small night stands. No place to put open suit case. Had to put it on the floor and bend for whatever needed to be removed from suitcase. Also the only the bed was made each day, the bathroom was not even wiped down.

We wanted to stay longer…!
The hotel is so clean and staff is very friendly. You can also use their kayak and paddle board for free (first come first serve, but we were the only one using it), which was a great bonus for us as we love to do kayaking! We also enjoyed watching sun rise at the lagoon every morning, so breathtaking! We only stayed 2 nights as we didn’t have much time in Bacalar, but I would definitely come back here next time when I am around. Highly recommended.

Cute Hotel at the Lagoon.
Nice hotel at the lagoon. The room was big and you have nice view, if you like to watch tv there are limited options. They have a kayak and stand-up-paddle-boards you can use for free. And it is totally worth it especially early in the morning when the lagoon is really quiet. The breakfast was rather simple but good.

Overall- great place!
Wonderful place to stay in Bacalar!!! Wonderful design, free kayaks and paddleboards. Just breakfast is a bit penny pinchy. I am okay to have toast and fruit but please make it tropical, not banana and apple.

What I liked about the property was the fact that it was pretty near to the lagoon and the restaurant from the hotel was good and prices were ok and the staff was also nice. What I didn't like too much it was that the room was kinda basic, just a bed and no furniture inside the room :/

Nice place. However, left early because of bugs and insects. Mosquitoes, lizards inside room, ants, a bee, and when it was brought up to management, they mentioned the animals were harmless without considering guests. Lady from front desk mentioned, “you do know your money will not be refunded despite you checking out a day before.” Which I was not asking for refund, just wanted to get out of there, unable to sleep comfortable knowing 2 lizards were in the room. If you don’t mind insects and bugs, then this is a nice place to stay.

Es un hotel a pie de laguna con un muelle muy bonito. Tiene 1 sólo restaurant y eso lo hace cómodo, evitando buscar que comer. El servicio de todo el personal es muy bueno y amables. El lugar es muy tranquilo, con vegetación y buena alberca. No es un resort, pero si buscas descanso con todo a la mano, sin duda esta es una opción. Si regreso, me volvere a hospedar aqui.
