This central area is the heart of Ayora, where you'll find the most amenities and a pleasant, walkable environment. The streets are narrow and winding, characteristic of a traditional Spanish town, leading to the main square, Plaza la Fuente, which is a focal point for local life. This area also provides easy access to the historical sites.

Couples looking for a relaxing getaway will appreciate staying in the town centre. It offers a convenient base for exploring the Castle of Ayora and the Parish Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, both within a short stroll.

The best time to visit Ayora is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.

These periods offer the most pleasant weather, with warm, sunny days and cooler evenings, ideal for exploring the natural beauty and historical sites without the intense heat of summer. You'll find the countryside lush and green in spring, and the autumn brings beautiful colours to the landscape.

For those interested in outdoor activities like hiking and cycling, spring and autumn are perfect. The temperatures are comfortable for longer excursions into the Sierra de Ayora mountains or along the Júcar River. You can enjoy the fresh air and stunning scenery without feeling overheated.

Summer (July and August) can be very hot, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C, which might be less comfortable for extensive sightseeing or outdoor adventures.
