Tucked in a quiet wooded neighborhood, you will feel like you entered paradise as you drive through rolling sand dunes and the private man made lakes on either side of the road. Lake Michigan views abound as well as endless fun walking the shores and splashing in the waves. The beach is accessible via newly built stairs directly in front of the home. "Such a relaxing stay with a breathtaking view. Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the last few days of summer!" Lauren R. INSIDE: The cottage offers 2 bedrooms, 1 with a king bed and a separate guest room with a queen bed. 1 full bath and additional 1/2 bath are accessible to both bedrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked and open to the living area which features double sliders to the spacious deck and deck. OUTSIDE The deck is the perfect place to end your night with dinner on the grill watching the sunset over the lake. \*Please note that Lake Michigan water levels are ever-changing, beach size can vary from day-to-day. PARKING There is a gravel parking area along the street and in front of the house that will fit 3-4 cars. SLEEPING This home sleeps 6\. All bed linens and bath linens are provided. A 10-mile drive south you will find highly acclaimed Grand Haven, a fun beach community with shopping, restaurants, splash pads, marinas, and a beautiful boardwalk to the Grand Haven Pier. There is no shortage of beauty and things to do here! Stairs were nice and new to get down to the beach but extremely steep. There was no beach accessories although the home was well stocked with necessities. Down side was check in and check out times. Check in time is at4 which is quite late in the day and check out is 10 am which is super early and non negotiable. Views of the lake are fantastic. Updated appliances, however the refrigerator was uneven. The stairs to the beach are actually two properties to the north and are not easily accessible. One needs to walk down two steep sandy slopes to reach the top of the stairs. The beach is great. Good sand quality for making sand castles. The fire pit needs to be replaced as the bottom is rusted out. Did not use it for that reason. Turkeys, deer and black squirrels visited us during our stay. ##### Anthony B. Check-in and check-out was easy, and the manager was communicative and responsive. The view and deck stole the show! Two things would have made our stay even better. The only way to get down to the private beach right now is to walk to the neighborhood access stairs (which even with typed directions were difficult to locate). However, I know there is a plan to have the home's private stairs rebuilt in the near future. The other thing to be aware of is that the full bathroom is located within the secondary bedroom. The half bath is located right next to it right off the kitchen. If you are traveling with family or close friends, perhaps this would not be an issue. But if not, then you will become close very quickly! All in all, a very enjoyable stay. ##### Carol F. We chose it primarily because it was right on the lake, and the calming sounds of the waves, beach view, and sunsets were just what we were looking for. The private beach was quiet and only a short walk away. The house was very clean (and it's hard to keep all that sand away), the showers were hot, and the beds were comfortable. Séjour de 3 nuits en août 2022 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Britney D. 1 août 2022 Points forts : Propreté #### Perfect little get away It was the perfect Lake house for my family of four. The view is absolutely gorgeous off the back deck. We enjoyed the sunsets. The drive is about 7 mins to the public beach. We loved the beach and being so close was nice having two toddlers. There aren't many restaurants in the area but that was ok for us as we love to do breakfast and lunch in which is why we like staying in houses. We did go out one night to The Deck which in my opinion is a must. The house was clean and we didn't have any issues. The only thing that is bummer is that you can't get down the private beach area. They must have had some nasty storms that ruined the walkway to it. But we didn't let that ruin our stay because who can control weather.
