A 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath picturesque lakefront cottage located on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake in the heart of the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State. This property features a fully screened in porch, upper and lower decks, a relaxing 4-person hot tub, a private dock with a large sun deck, and 1 vertical boat lift. Fish off the dock, float on a tube (we can rent ours!), have a waterside bonfire or enjoy a paddle in the 2 kayaks provided for use. This 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath property can sleep up to 6 guests and has parking for 4 vehicles. It features a large fully screened in porch, upper and lower decks with panoramic views of the lake, a relaxing 4-person hot tub available for use year-round, a private dock with a large sun deck, and1 vertical boat lift (max 3000lbs). Cast a line off the dock for some great fishing, float peacefully in an inflatable tube (we have 2 available for rental!), or enjoy a paddle around the lake in the 2 kayaks provided for use. Take a step inside of “Sunset Oasis” to find an immaculately clean, fully furnished, and comfortable living space. You'll walk through the fully screened porch to find an overstocked kitchen featuring a dishwasher and seating for 4-6, then a convenient half bath. Continue on to find a lovely living room area with desk space, a SMART TV, couches, a brand new queen size sleeper sofa, and views of the lake through 2 double glass doors. Walk up the stairs to find 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath, with sleeping arrangements as follows: Second Floor Bedroom 1: King Size Bed, Twin Size Bed, Dressers, Closet, TV Second Floor Bedroom 2: Queen Size Bed, Twin Size Bed, Dressers, Closet, TV Pillows, sheets, towels, and other linens are provided for your convenience. Heating and air conditioning are provided throughout for comfort in all seasons. This property is equipped with cellular service, 100mbps+ high speed internet & Wi-Fi, and a SMART TV/DIRECTV. Strictly no smoking. Pets are allowed with an additional $200 pet fee which covers up to 2 pets. Please say yes to the pet option when making the reservation so you are charged correctly. Due to high demand, there is a strict no refund policy on any bookings that include a local event or holiday weekend. Situated on the eastern shore of Cayuga Lake, less than a mile from NY Long Point State Park, this comfortable, fully furnished and equipped two-bedroom cottage can be yours to enjoy. Sit back and enjoy your favorite beverage from the cozy living room, in the year-round 4-person hot tub on the large lower deck just a few feet from the water, under the remote controlled awning on the large upper deck, or at the firepit on the lower waterside area. Guests will have access to the entire property. The road this cottage is located on is nice and quiet to ride bikes or take a walk with lake views. There is a state park a few minutes down the road with a playground for kids and boat launches. The surrounding area offers numerous experiences to enjoy. We recommend bringing/wearing water shoes for safety. Please note that the advertised nightly rate is based on a total of up to 4 guests. Get up early to see the change in the color of the hills across the lake as the sun rises or watch an afternoon storm roll down the lake leaving the air clean and fresh. Enjoy the lake breeze and the sound of waves lapping against the dock. Fish off the end of the dock in one of the best fishing spots on the lake or enjoy a paddle around the lake in a kayak. Be amazed at the spectacular sunset at the end of the day. Roast marshmallows around the firepit. There is plenty to see and do! Whatever you choose, we are sure that you will have a fabulous time at “Sunset Oasis”! We expect guests to respect our home as if it was their own. We also require that the house is left in the condition it was when you arrived. $200 pet fee covers up to two pets. If you have more, please let us know before reserving. Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Additionally, you will be asked to choose between a damage deposit or a damage waiver. Pet damage is not covered by this policy. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. We did our annual fishing trip to Cayuga\\Lake Ontario and stayed here this year. There was room to park two full size trucks comfortably, the house was clean, and the bedrooms were a decent size. The hot tub was clean and the views of the lake from the deck are beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. There was a gas grill that we used on the deck overlooking the water. One thing to note is this house is on a narrow, one lane gravel Street. The street not capable of parking or even driving a boat or really anything on a trailer down. The property owners were nice enough to make accommodations off the property to park a boat. Overall, I loved the house, and I would visit again for a family vacation. As for a fishing trip with a boat, I would need special accommodations for parking the boat again to make the trip. ##### Nick G. We were able to check in early on Thanksgiving, and on that day, my boyfriend proposed! We took a long walk and were in hot tub and had champagne with the Christmas lights on! Plenty of wineries and hiking in the area. Our favorite was the top deck off the living room. We sat out there a lot. Love that there is a fire pit down by the water. Wish it wasn't so hot out or we would have used it. The dock was really nice. We rented a boat for the day and it was nice to stop off to refresh and get some snacks. Beautiful views of the sunsets. You won't be disappointed in the amount of space there is. The only negative thing we had was the king sized be was hard. Luckily we trave with camping foam bedrolls. So if you don't like a hard bed, you might want to do the same. The place could use a little TLC but with the summer turnover, we understand that this probably doesn't happen until the end of the busy season. We definitely would love to come back. The host were fantastic! Such nice and attentive people. If we had a question, they were right there with help and answers. Check-in and out are easy and fast. No waiting around and no issues. ##### Shae S. The hosts, known for their exceptional kindness and hospitality, had truly thought of everything. Situated by the lake, the property offered 2 kayaks, a fantastic grill, a fully stocked kitchen, and an abundance of towels. The beds were cozy, with plenty of linens and blankets available. And to top it off, the cottage was also pet-friendly! Our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed lounging in the sun and relaxing on the screened porch. I could go on and on, did I mention the paddle boat and the hot tub? Great stay overall and highly recommend! ##### Courtney C. This cottage on Cayuga Lake was absolutely amazing! To begin, the house is stocked with whatever you need in the kitchen and elsewhere! Don’t worry that you won’t have the right pan or dish…..it’s there. Towels galore, including beach towels were also plentiful! The house is well decorated and very clean. The beds were comfortable. The kayaks provided were terrific quality and life vests of every size were provided as well. The campfire pit was terrific with wood provided. Lastly, the view from the deck can’t be beat!
