We were there for an Ironman race and got caught up with the hurricane Helene. Luckily we were safe but caught there with the race cancelled and fallen trees in the roads. Trey (owner) cut his way out from his property and worked his way to us to help ensure we were able to leave the area safely - our hero with a chainsaw. Our only complaint if that is the right word, was the bathroom was a little on the small side for us. We are quite tall! Overall we loved the house and the yard is very nice and surprisingly large! The cottage was absolutely worth every penny!! The interior was first class! We stayed for 25 days while I home was under repairs. Met about half of the neighbors. Good location. Close to downtown & all of the medical & business district.
