The room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Have stayed a number of times and will return next time I am in Orewa. Conveniently close to the beach and cafe's, bars, supermarkets and shops.

We love that Waves Motel is just steps away from sandy beach of Orewa. Spacious motel with in-room spa. Motel 11 do had some issues with the spa plug n power switch which we had brought up to lady upon checkout. Will stay at Waves again as the location is great

Our first room had a strong smell forcing us to sleep with windows wide open, after mentioning this to management we were shifted to the suite next door which was 100% better, cleaner, bigger and brighter. We were very grateful to management who were very accommodating. They explained that the original room had just had its carpets cleaned, Over all Waves suited us well, location is excellent, property is a little tired but good value, kitchen and amenities were all good.
