Five-minute walk to small shopping area with half a dozen restaurants. Room itself is nice but very small; we were traveling with a lot of luggage and felt cramped. Path from covered parking to room is steep and not really suited for dragging all those bags up and down. Easy walk to Titirangi village with shopping and restaurants and the Zig Zag nature trail. Comfortable bed, nice views of surrounding forest. Negatives for us were the long stairs down from the street level - tough for us older folks with bad knees and heavy suitcases - and the noise during the night from debris falling from the trees overhead during the night on the metal roof.
