Spacious chalet, fabulous view over the beach. Everything you could need -kitchen facilities, laundry. Comfortable beds, full bathroom facilities with great showers. Loved being able to just sit and watch the ocean and the sunset.

The view! You cant beat looking at that view. We stayed in the 2brm chalet. As soon as you walk in you see that view and from both bedrooms. The deck is great but very windy on our stay. The beds were comfy and shower was amazing. Great pressure. Full kitchen and laundry. Very happy with our stay. They do room service which was great. The food was ok but I'm sure would be better in person. Thanks for having us. We will stay again

Amazing property. We stayed in the two bedroom, 2 bathroom unit with full kitchen and family room and were very comfortable. The accommodations were modern and clean. We really appreciated the washer and dryer in the unit. The view of Karioitahi beach was incredible. We really enjoyed our two night stay and would definitely return if back in Auckland area.

Beautiful view of the black sand beach from the room. The bed was so comfortable, I had the best nights sleep. Highly recommend taking the walking track up top to the lookout at sunset, it was breathtaking. Breakfast buffet was delicious, load of options to choose from.

We stayed one night at Castaways and loved the beautiful, peaceful location away from town. The view from our studio was wonderful! The room was excellent with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is a must – the buffet was really good. The only downside is no direct beach access; you have to walk a couple of hundred metres down the road without a footpath, so watch out for cars. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we’d happily recommend it.
