This weekend we camping at Point Farms Provincial Park off of Lake Huron. It's our first time here and the beach is enormous!!! I highly recommend visiting this place as its great for families. White sandy beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see. Water is cold but refreshing with only a little bit of seaweed. The shallow end extends quite far out giving you lots of room to have fun without getting in anyone's way. Bugs aren't too bad either. There is no firewood available within the park but a 30 second drive north outside the park marks a small variety store where you can buy all your camping needs such as fire starters, wood, kindling, and so on. The closest grocery store is about a 20 minute drive south towards Goderich called Zehers. Beautiful wood and floors with nicely appointed rooms. The bed was firm and good to sleep in. The TV and the wifi were very good with many channels to choose from. The breakfast while slow to arrive but, was very large and tasty. The hosts are very accommodating and helped us with everything we asked for. The grill for barbecuing was very good. Walked to the beach which was Stoney but nice. The weather was terrible while we were there but we drove to neighbouring villages and explored. The General store across the street is good and the pub has a massive selection of beers and coolers. We enjoyed our stay.
