We arrived to a deck that was completely covered in spider webs and dead bugs. I’m talking everything was covered - the chairs, the glass railing, the doors, the grill, and even the broom that we were told by the owner could be used to clean the spiders up with. I understand that there may be bugs/spiders at a lake but this had not been cleaned for weeks. It was disgusting. We were also charged a ridiculous excess cleaning fee after our stay despite following all of their check out rules and leaving the place in great shape. They said it was because we used ALL the blankets in the unit. It was a cold weekend and there were 8 of us so yes we used all blankets that were provided to us in the unit. The owner also said we moved things…which was not true (besides moving all the blankets). The check out time is 10:30 am which is pretty early if you ask me. Save yourself the stress and headache of dealing with this owner and stay elsewhere! ##### Becky S.
