Total relaxation and the hosts couldn't be better! Cathy was so kind when I spoke with her on the phone and John was as well when we met. My only regret is that we couldn't have stayed longer. We definitely plan to come back for a longer period of time and surely experience the star gazing the next time. Wonderful hosts, beautiful wide open location, a roll off roof observatory to put your telescope in, lovely, cozy, tastefully decorated cottage. About 20 minutes easy drive to Cave Creek Canyon for more birding where we had a good look at the Elegant Trogon. Hosts were right next door and very helpful. ##### Brian S. Perfect size for two people who want some dark sky's and quiet time. John, the host, is very kind and caring. The star party was fun. The star party John gave us was lots of fun, with great views of Saturn and Jupiter as well as star clusters, galaxies and nebulas. The house is very comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and having the washer/dryer came in handy. Overall a great experience for our short birding vacation. ##### Marianne H.
