The cottage provides a perfect retreat for 2, close to Grasmere, with fantastic walks right from your doorstep. The property has a cosy open plan kitchen living room which is light and airy with large picture windows and roof lights. Upstairs there is a large double bedroom, with the shower room located on the landing at the foot of the stairs. This property is next door to Juniper Cottage, which sleeps 6, and can be booked together for groups of up to 6-8 with the benefit of separate space. There is parking for one car. One thing I hadn’t thought of was the challenge of a dirty dog and only having a small shower cubicle so one to consider if booking! (We made it work somehow). Only slight down side to the property was the sofa isn’t the comfiest place to sit of an evening, but we fixed that by visiting the pub instead.
