You can walk down to the centre within 20 minutes or use a bus to it, with a trip of 10 minutes. You will be immersed in the sparling Mediterranean Sea and amazed by the immense view you can enjoy from your private Terrace. The property is located on the second and top floor of a modern three-storey building and has been recently restored. The lovely Edera apartment has an area of 30 square meters and can host a couple in its comfortable regular double bed. In addition we have a sofa you can sit and relax on it! Tastefully refurbished and decorated with colorful ceramic tiles from Vietri, the studio features a small but efficient kitchenette (with oven, fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle, four burner stove), a full bathroom with basin, toilet bidet and shower, clothes washer. The private Sea View terrace has breathtaking views of the beach of Santa Croce, and features a dining table with chairs, sunbeds. This apartment is fully-air conditioned and unlimited Wifi. No pets are permitted. The area of Vettica Amalfi is well-served by public transport (SITA bus) that can easily connect you to Amalfi and many other destinations, so we suggest you reach this apartment using public transportation, or a private/shared taxi. The residence is surrounded by a big outdoor park that stretches from the S.S. Sorrento to S.S. Agerola and has parking for scooter (no designated spaces). Parking spaces for cars might be found on the main road (very difficul in season). Amalfi\\'s town center is about 2.5 km away from Edera, and is where you will find a bevy of shops, bars, beaches, restaurants, and ferries that can take you to different villages along the coast. ## Commodités de l’hébergement ### Plage - My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary at the Amalfi coast and found this rental unit to be perfect. Bus line allows easy access to/from Amalfi City center and other locales as preferred. Walk to local market is manageable and will provide all you need anything f desire is to remain at rental unit. Views definitely live up to pictures and beyond. Communication with rental management was A+. Would definitely return to Amalfi and would not hesitate to stay at this property again. If you're up to it...a short walk toward Amalfi and 462 steps brings you to a wonderful beach location! Highly recommend. ##### Mike G. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Our favorite way to get around was walking down to ferry terminal and using ferry, especially at the end of the day for sunset when ‘coming home’. We planned according for walking as it is a little further away from the hustle and bustle of amalfi town center, which we really wanted and enjoyed. The location is kinda tough to find initially, and the Almafi coast in particular is really unusually organized. Domenico and Luisa the property managers were so helpful and communicative, they gave great suggestions and helped me find the property when our delayed flight got us to Almafi very late at night and it was dark and even harder to find. The balcony is a fair size and the view is breathtaking. But you need to be aware that Amalfi is not your typical town. The place is a 10 minutes bus ride to the Amalfi centre. Bus comes about every hour, and you need to coordinate. It is not safe to walk to the town centre, because you would need to walk on the narrow road shared with all vehicles that can barely fit without pedestrians. There are multiple beaches that can only be accessed by boat and only one public beach close to town centre and the bus stop. We were there the second week in June and it was not too busy. The sand is not great, but decent. You can rent chairs and umbrelas. Food is amazing, people are awesome, and the town is a jewel. You can take ferries and SITA busses to the other towns on the coast, and the islands. Capri is worth seeing. There is a small grocery shop about 200 metres from the property, but the walk is quite a hike up the hill. There is a side trail, don't go on the road all the way, you can use a maps program and follow directions. The property manager Luisa was extremely helpful. She gave us very good directions on how to get there and info. on bus schedules and how to get around. All in all, I very much recommend the place .
