For trekking fans there is a walking path : Lemon Path, The Convent of Saint Nicholas and after you reach Ravello town. The lemon grove , at the entrance offers a magic atmophere with a series of special fragrances. The house is furnishes with every minimum detail. Twe double bed rooms, one bathroom, sitting roomn with kitchen area facilities, air conditioning, hair dryer and Sat TV, FREE WIFI, PARKING. We are up on the hill in Minori, along lemon Path, to reach my location there are before 80 steps to walk up and after other 80 to arrive in Ibiscus House. Outside apartement there is a large terrace that overlooks the surronding nature, where you can admire a wonderfull panorama to the sea and uphill Ravello.Each corner of Divine Coast represents an idyllic place that needs to be discovered. We are only 5 km far from Amalfi, Ravello, 10 Km from Positano that it's very easy to reach by ferry boat from Minori center. Bonne accueil de nos hôtes! Emplacement avec superbe vue, MAIS... Oh! Surprise, beaucoup d’extras n’avait pas été mentionné au moment de la réservation, ex: un supplément pour l’air conditionné (il faisait 35 degré), l’utilisation de la laveuse était en extra. Équipement très minimal dans la cuisine (pas de grille pain) et plusieurs autres irritants. Gros problème de moisissure! L’accueil des propriétaires souriants et serviables. Rien à redire sur le logement qui correspond totalement à la description ainsi que le point de vue. Toutefois attention aux personnes ayant des difficultés à ce déplacer car il y a tout de même 200 marches à monter pour arriver à l’appartement ! Et plus de 500 pour descendre au centre ville. Avec 1 condition physique « normale» cela se fait sans problème. Nous remercions 1 nouvelle fois Ornella et Salvatore pour leurs sourires, accueil, et conseilles. Nous recommandons cette adresse et les environs à découvrir qui sont splendides. Nous avions opté pour l’arrière saison et ne l’avons pas regretté car le soleil était encore au RDV et pas trop de monde sur les routes et les lieux à visiter. ##### patricia B. Prachtig gelegen tussen de citroenplantages. De gastvrouw Ornella is zeer behulpzaam en attent. Zeer goed contact met haar voor en gedurende het verblijf. Bagage wordt door de familie naar boven en beneden gedragen. Het enige nadeel is dat je 180 trappen op moet om de woning te bereiken. Dit vergt nogal wat afstemmen met o.a. boodschappen doen. Vanaf de onderzijde van de locatie is het makkelijk om met het buurtbusje naar Minori en terug te gaan voor €1,00 per rit op. Dus oudere mensen en mensen die moeilijk lopen. 180 steile trappen, maar de moeite waard. ##### Johannes C. Ornella is super quick to answer and truly helpful! We had problems with our phones and she called for us to book tours around. Its clean and in the center of lemon trees and flowers. There is a good walk with 100 stairs to get there from the private parking spot (10€ per days) but Ornella’s son and partner helped us with luggage. There is also a good walk with 500 stairs to get down to Minori (10-15 min) we made it multiple times and we are still alive so you should be too. If you dont want to get down or up walking, there is a shuttle doing 3/4 every hour (1€) or a golfcart (cheaper than taxi). Minori was really nice with a good bakery and not filled with people like amalfi. Better stay in Minori than Maiori. There is a cool walk near the apartment, sentiero dei limoni! A beautiful location with views of Minori and Ravello that were absolutely stunning. Although the location was somewhat of a challenge we so enjoyed the area that it was hardly noticed and the benefits were worthwhile. But what really made the visit so memorable was the incredible graciousness of the hosts. They were more like family than hosts and were so heartfelt in their help and local knowledge. It came exactly as advertised and was incredibly well-appointed, with everything we needed for a short-term stay. Although the house does require some stairs to get to, the view is absolutely breathtaking and makes the experience so worthwhile. Ornella and her family were so gracious, courteous and helpful in making the check-in and check-out process smooth and provided everything we needed during our stay - we certainly appreciated their kindness throughout our stay. They help bring your bags up and down the many stairs at the beginning and end of your trip. They even gave us a ride to the ferry dock upon leaving. I highly suggest buying a bottle of their lemon juice, it is sweetened and makes the best lemonade when combined with water. My friend and I stayed at the ibiscus holiday house for 4 nights and had a fantastic experience! Ornella was very communicative over email and WhatsApp as soon as I booked the rental. She even had her husband meet us at the ferry in Minori to drive us up the mountain to their farm and carry our 2 very heavy luggages up the remaining stairs! The house was exactly as listed with a basic kitchenette, plenty hot water, working AC for €0.50 per use, one bedroom and a loft. The property was very clean and well cared for. The view just outside the front door was incredible and we enjoyed relaxing outside every night once it cooled down, though I would recommend bringing bug spray for the mosquitos. The other reviews are not exaggerating when they say there are many steps from the town of Minori to the house, but there is a bus that runs most of the way up the mountain to the farm entrance and there are many places to stop and rest if you choose to take the stairs. Walking down to the town took us less than 10 minutes and walking up took us just less than 30 minutes with several breaks. We made the most of it and called it “the original stairmaster.” That being said, my friend and I are both young and very healthy and I would not recommend staying here if you or your family are not able to walk around 100 stairs from the bus stop to the house. Ornella gave us great tips for public transportation and recommendations for restaurants and things to do around the area. She also offered us homemade limoncello and lemon juice for €5 each from the lemon farm where the house is located, simply delicious! Her husband and son also carried our bags and drove us to the ferry on the morning we checked out which was so appreciated. A hospitable host, beautiful property and overall one of my best experiences with VRBO thus far. If you’re looking to stay away from the crowds and instead take a short ferry to Salerno, Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento or Capri for day trips, this is the perfect place to book! ##### Emma L. To reach the house you have to be willing to climb plenty of steps (even if you take the local minibus from the Basilica that takes you more than halfway up). But once you're up at the house the view over the lemon trees (it's a working lemon farm, a limoneto) that gives to the sea, to Minori, and to Ravello on the opposite mountainside is breathtaking. There are two apartments in the house, so it's suitable for two families or groups (willing to climb stairs). Der Ort Minori ist in der Umgebung einer der schönsten und bietet alles was man benötigt; Strand, tolle Restaurants, authentische Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Metzger, Pastaria, Bäcker, Obstläden, etc.) Da die Unterkunft sehr hoch am Berg gelegen ist, muss man trotz Shuttle Bus immer einige Stufen gehen - das ist mit Kinderwagen oder alten Leuten eher schwierig zu bewerkstelligen. Wij hebben daar niet met onze auto gereden, te druk en te duur parkeren. Wij hebben naar het dorp gelopen (bergaf, nog meer trappen) en zijn terug naar het huisje met een shuttle bus gegaan . Die rijdt op bepaalde tijden. Op de boerderij kun je heerlijke eigen producten kopen. De gastvrouw wil graag voor je koken en doet dit vortreffelijk, maar wel tevoren even naar de prijs informeren . Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist fantastisch und die Ruhe dort oben sehr erholsam. Der Weg über die Treppenstufen war ein gutes Training für andere herrliche Wanderungen an der Küste und ins Hinterland. Ornella hat uns bei unserer An- und Abreise sehr gut unterstützt und Salvatore hat uns und unser Gepäck von der Bushaltestelle in Minori abgeholt bzw. hingebracht. Es gab in der Unterkunft eine schön-große Teekanne, was sonst oft nicht der Fall ist. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen. ##### Katja F. Wie in einer kleinen Einsiedelei am Berghang gelegen, sieht man von der Terrasse auf Minori, das Meer und das gegenüberliegende Ravello mit seinen fantastischen Villen. Zum Agroturismo mit Zitronenanbau gehört ein kleiner Campanile aus dem 11\. Jh. Die Inhaber Salvatore und Ornella sind sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf Wunsch kocht Ornella und ihre Tagliatelle al limone mit den sehr schmackhaften eigenen Zitronen ein Hit. Im Gegensatz zu anders lautenden Beurteilungen sind die Matratzen neuwertig und sehr bequem. Wenn man in dieser vom Tourismus überlaufenen Gegend einen besonderen Ort sucht, dann ist es dieser. The terrace is a lovely place to spend your time with beautiful views over Minori and across the valley to Ravello. The apartment is set in a great location to walk down to town (Minori) with plenty of exercise climbing up the steps on the way back. Also a good base location to travel down the Amalfi Coast and a day trip to Pompeii. Ornella and her family were very accommodating and were always available to give advice and information when needed. We especially enjoyed trying the lemon juice and limencello that is produced on the farm.
