Check out the Cache River Wetlands with 1,000 year old Cypress trees. Discover the natural beauty that is southernmost Illinois. Enjoy our nearby wineries and vineyards with award winning wines and tasting rooms plus entertainment from local musicians, dinner theatres and summertime or fall festivals along the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. We needed to unwind and just relax. This was the perfect place. The cabin was great with everything we wanted and needed. Hot tub was a highlight. Quiet, peaceful and serene setting. Despite the rainy weather for half of our trip we were comfortable in the house. It had everything we needed to cook and relax.
