"Perfect location for exploring the city, both old town and seaside. Loved the room and cannot say enough about the reception staff who answered all of our questions and gave great recommendations regarding the Moros y Cristianos festival. She helped make our stay memorable and was very welcoming. Hotel has a relaxed vibe and great selection of restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance."

"Our stay at Santa Bárbara Hotel was fantastic. The location in the heart of Altea’s Historic Center is perfect — everything is walkable, from restaurants to bars. The view from our room was stunning and made the experience unforgettable. The staff is genuinely friendly, and Madara welcomed us warmly with great recommendations — the communication throughout our stay was excellent. Be mindful that the hotel doesn’t offer parking since the area is fully pedestrian, but it was totally worth it for the charm, comfort, and overall experience. Highly recommended."

"Really lovely place by the beach. Warm welcome from the lady who does the housekeeping. Lovely terrace, spacious clean room, with a lovely partial sea view. Good air con. Really handy to have a fridge in the room too! Could maybe do with some conditioner / shampoo, and is a little noisy from the road."

"Gorgeous hotel, lovely decor. Perfect surroundings in the old town. Superb restaurant serving an excellent selection of vegetarian foods. Very friendly staff who are happy to help. It was hard to leave. We’ll definitely be back."

"Très bel appartement et très belle localisation. Mais il y a un manque de places de stationnement (j’ai du me garer dans la rue) et très peu d’informations données (exemple : il fallait réserver le padel mais personne ne nous a expliqué comment faire)La chasse d’eau était cassée le jeudi( fuite d’eau très importante) et n’a pu être réparée que le lundi suivant. Quel gâchis d’eau … Le wifi n’a jamais fonctionné et j’ai été obligée de dépenser 22 en achats de data auprès de mon opérateur."

"Absolutely beautiful balcony and the staff were all very helpful. The room came with all the amenities. The only downsides were that there was no hand soap, in the bathrooms and extra towels had to be paid for. The rooms wrre weel cleaned but there was some mold in the shower. Overall tho would recommend"
