To keep our cabin pristine for all guests, we kindly ask that dogs remain off furniture and beds, and be safely crated when left unattended. Please register your pups in advance!

?? Local Tip: While we start you off, you may want to swing by the grocery store for longer stays. Ingles Grocery in Bryson City is our local go-to (note: closes at 10 PM, with earlier seasonal hours in winter).

?? MOUNTAIN ACCESS & TRAVEL TIPS
Part of the charm of Stackstone Ridge is its high-elevation views! Accessing mountain tranquility involves winding gravel and paved roads.

Vehicle Recommendation: We highly recommend a 4WD/AWD vehicle with higher ground clearance—especially during winter months or after rainy conditions. Low-clearance sports cars are not suitable for mountain terrain.

Weather Preparedness: Smoky Mountain weather moves fast! Please check forecast and road conditions before your trip, as refunds are not offered for weather-related access issues.

?? Active Wildlife: Black bears are active in WNC! Always secure food inside, never leave trash in cars, and secure the bungee cords on outdoor trash bins tightly every time. Keep dogs leashed.

?? Water Mindful: Our mountain well water is precious. Please enjoy long, relaxing hot tub soaks, but help us conserve well water by running full loads in the washer/dishwasher and keeping shower times reasonable.
