"Bonjour
J'ai payé par carte de crédit mon séjour à l'hôtel. Par la suite, une semaine plus tard, j'ai été surpris de voir ma carte de crédit débité de 2 fois de plus le prix de mon séjour."
"This hotel seems popular with a business and foreign clientele. It's has a bit of a dated feel architecturally harkening back to the fashion for atriums and neo-artdeco. The main requirements of quiet, clean, comfortable beds were met. For me it was a bit distant from city center, which is probably a draw for others. It's a reasonable walk to the Metro station which will get you to other neighborhoods quickly."
"This is a refurbished "grand hotel" that has been restored to give the feel of the original construction with modern updates. It's clear that some fixtures were chosen for budget provisions. All in all it works. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. A major priority. The staff was very nice, like it seems everyone in algeria. The location is central and desirable to me for that reason."
"When I arrived at the hotel, it turned out there was no room for me. Even though I had paid, the hotel had sold my room to someone else. Please take this into your knowledge when making your reservation. WIFI not working, Breakfast offers only sweets. I do not recommend this place to anyone !!!! Don’t ruin your vacation."
"I stayed here with my brother for a week in April. We found the hotel to be modern, tidy and peaceful. The food was excellent and we would definitely stay here again. Thanks a lot."
"The first thing to note is that there are two hotels on the property - La Gazelle d'Or and La Coupole - and unless you are staying in a villa or a tent, your room will be in La Coupole which is a 3-star hotel at best. Rooms are dark and drab and lack basic amenities such as clothes hangers, a kettle, a hairdryer etc. Furthermore, bedroom doors must be slammed shut or they won't fully close. If the hotel was full, I suspect this would become a major noise issue for guests. As a guest at La Coupole, you must also pay extra to use the main pool. There is a smaller pool for La Coupole guests. Breakfast is basic but adequate and staff are generally helpful."
"We stayed here after arriving at the airport in order to recover from a long trip. This hotel was ideal for that. It’s a short taxi ride from the airport. We also understood that they have a free airport shuttle but we did not use it. Second, there is a nice cafe and also a buffet restaurant that were open late. We could get a good meal and pay on a credit card and not worry about not yet having the opportunity to change money. We had delicious drinks at the cafe and later had a light fare dinner there…also good. We stopped by the restaurant buffet and it looked great, but we weren’t hungry enough to benefit from the vast spread of food. Staff at the desk and for housekeeping and other services were exceptionally nice and we spoke to them in English and French. The room was comfortable and well set up, but not large. Our only negative was that the room was a bit hot and the AC was not functioning. Otherwise we would have rated at 5 stars. Staff could offer no solution. An open window helped. We had a good sleep as the hotel is quiet, with thick walls and triple glazed windows. "
