The rooms were clean, when checking in the check-in staff was a little frustrating but maybe she was just having one of those days. The pool could have been cleaner but it wasn’t terrible. However the hot tub wasn’t hot which sucked. Parking lot is well lit and they have so many cameras outside to help ease the mind. The breakfast was lacking. The beds were so comfy non of the other stuff mattered to me. All in all I have stayed in worse.
Parking was okay, the bed was very comfortable. the room was clean. We were lucky and got one of the rooms on the end, so it was quiet. No coffee in the room. They do not have elevators, not a problem for us. Breakfast was a slim selection. We just got a couple of yogurts. I don't know if it was leftover from COVID or an old safety measure, but the staff was behind glass in a locked room. They do have surveillance cameras in the parking area. The important part is it was clean and comfortable.
The first surprise was the $100 cash deposit required at check-in. That was never mentioned anytime during booking. Thankfully, I had the cash on hand, but what happens when someone doesn't? Also, you have to remind the desk agent at check-out that you paid the deposit and would like it returned.
The free breakfast was little more than some cold cereal, coffee, and one of those round waffle makers. Nice try, but not exactly fulfilling. Luckily, there is a really cool diner across the street. Old-timey place with a working juke box and decent hot food.
The bath towels were a baby step above the cheese cloth you get at a Motel 6.
At least the room was clean.

Not bad for the price. Nice staff who accommodate my room change request without hesitation. The room could use a little freshening up. The bathroom (shower and toilet) needs better lighting.
Young man who checked me in was excellent. I used to work in the Hotel industry so I know of what I speak. The room had recently been painted which was very nice. The chair was broken. There was no chain on the door toiletries were subpar.
Parking was good, and the staff was fine. Breakfast was a little lacking as there was no fruit juice to have. They did have fresh waffles, coffee, cereal and milk. Toast too!
Like our room a lot. It’s an old building, but the room is clean and the fridge is cold enough to freeze my cheese sticks. The front desk lady is so nice that gave us a room that is on the second floor and have a sliding door connects to the balcony where you can see the indoor pool. This is a fun experience for my family.
Nice safe place, well lit area. Breakfast, not much of a choice, waffles, cereal, coffee, but if you don’t drink coffee, well too bad. At least the day I was there, there was not other choices.
But, for a quick one night stay, it works on E I 40.
