What happens next we cannot say... much laughter... Lovely home cooked food with all the spices of Kerala. Lovely friendly staff that made the trip a little greater. A/C stopped working, no toilet paper in bathroom when we got there, no window covering in bathroom, curtains did not cover window properly on any window, we had to play with the curtains for a half hour to get them to cover windows, they were in bad shape. People were always lurking around outside, felt awkward. Had to be back by 8:30 pm, hotel rule due to boat ride to get across I think. No proper check in or check out. One of them walked into our room while we were changing, he apologized profusely. He knocked and we said hold on and he came in anyways, he should have not let himself in, we obviously had not left, one cannot sneeze without everyone knowing.
