I didn’t see a way to turn down the heat but we closed the vents which helped. TV was great and layout of furniture made it easy to watch. The kitchen was under equipped …if you want to cook you may need to bring a colander, crockpot or instant pot, large stock pot, aluminum foil, and plastic wrap with you. Shower is inside a claw foot tub so it’s awkward to use…don’t slip getting in and out. Stairs are steep getting up to the apartment. No large bowls, basic silverware, nothing for servingThe bathtub curtain is too long so you have to be very careful. The description stated that there were stairs but these are long and quite steep, so bear this in mind. During our stay, we found the apartment to be quite basic in terms of kitchen supplies, which made cooking a bit challenging due to the limited utensils and cookware available. Additionally, the linens could have been a bit fresher to ensure maximum comfort. The apartment also has a steep staircase, which might be a bit challenging for some guests.
