The common area lounge room is cosy and has all the things necessary to heat up your food or make some breakfast ie toaster microwave hot water, milk, tea and instant coffee.

I came to town for a low key respite holiday, to have a look at the mountains and to enjoy some quiet, and was rewarded! Thank you for the clean space and plenty of fluffy pillows. Dinner at the pub is an easy walk, all within the majesty of the snowys.

I was able to make my own breakfast and basic dinner using the Lodge's facilities which was unexpected and a big plus. The Lodge Manager was off site until the morning and was very helpful. The Lodge provided all I needed and for a good price.

The room was small, but very clean and had all that I needed for a one night stay. It was also a very reasonable price. The shower was hot and the bathroom clean. All appointments as indicated on the website.

Comfortable stay, clean bedroom. Rooms are small but comfortable. Shower nice and hot. Keep in mind that the kettle,Coffee , tea, cups are available from common area not in your room. There is a beautiful fire place but was off. Hosts are nice and helpful.

Stayed here for one night. Heading to Selwyn Snow resort. Nice Snowy Goose Pub with great dinner options 5 mins walk from motel. Also convenience store across the road. Good breakfast at the Bakery 3 mins away. Big trout is just 5 mins walk from motel. The fireplace was nice in the common area. Microwave, free coffee and tea there as well. Rooms are clean but a bit outdated. Water hot and nice shower. Also Ampol station just 5 mins away.

Staff were friendly and very lovely to kids, nice roaring fire, rooms are clean but very small with squeaky bunk beds. No warm room to dry snow clothes, kettle in room but have to use microwave in the common room then have to was up in your own bathroom sink 🙁! If you don’t bring you’re own food, you have to eat at the pub which is very expensive
