The staff was very rude towards the end. I asked for a simple beverage in the am during breakfast and one of the gentleman stated that they were not open yet. However when I Ispoke with the reception desk they said thay they should be have already been open by now.

There are some needs about the room service wich was needed to be seen, as the number of tools by person (there were in 2 of the days less than the room occupation), the light at the toillets was so poor it was very difficult to see at the mirror, and the wc window was not working and a paper saying it will be fixed next day was posted for nothing. There was a computer for the guest using but it does not work, so it was better to be removed. The internet connection was great and very powerful, a remarcable point

Nice hotel in Abidjan
Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They arranged for a personal tour around Abidjan for me at a reasonable rate (although this can probably be done cheaper on your own - but without the safety and security of knowing the hotel is involved). Nice pool area and comfortable room. Saw a lizard in my room, but this is West Africa, after all. Area immediately outside the hotel area is a little busy and loud at night, but it's peaceful and serene once inside the complex.

The hotel's photos are not accurate; I developed food poisoning from the breakfast. The reception staff is unfriendly. This hotel needs an overhaul.

Eccentric hotel, modelled on Malian architecture!
Room was immaculately clean and tidy. And very large (a luxe room by the lagoon). But it was noisy overnight and I didn’t sleep well. The staff were all friendly... until you asked for anything. Negotiating a late check out (by 2 hours) felt like harder work than it ought. And then their credit card machine didn’t work for payment. And they decided they could only accept US dollars in $100 denominations!!! Overall a good hotel, and very quirky. But you might find better.

Great stay in Abidhan
Great stay in Abidjan, the room was large with a lot of space. Only issue i had is that there is a bamboo stair to reach the room, but the stair is really narrow. There is also a nightclub right ouside and i could hear the music at night

Wonderful experience. The food is amazing (though expensive, but worth it), rooms are so beautifully decorated, amazing pool, good staff, grounds very well maintained. Be aware that if you charge meals to your room, when you pay at check out they do not accept credit cards, and only the local currency.

Nice hotel in Abidjan, if you are looking for a bit a resort feel and quiet while staying in busy Abidjan, this place is for you. Rooms might need some updates still.

Good parts: the staff were mostly friendly and the dinner was very good. The first room I had was next to a discotheque, and i was awakened at 4am by loud noise. I called the main desk and they told me about the club! The hotel was almost empty so I have no idea why i was put in that room. The second room had mosquitoes and I awoke at 3am with bites on my arms and face. I was made to pay for the breakfast even though my reservation clearly stated "free breakfast". I was told that i should take it up with Expedia. The staff congregated at the bar and chatted among themselves and I had to get up three times to ask for things; once I just whistled.

ich bin ein regelmässiger Le Wafou Gast, normalerweise TOP. Sehr freundliches Personal, gute Lage, feines Essen, ich mag den tollen Afrika-Stiel. ABER dieses Mal pure Katastrophe als Geschäftsreise: ein auswärtiger Kunde machte eine grosse Party im Hotel. Sehr laute Musik ab rund 19:00 pm bis rund 2:00 am Morgen. Ich hatte einen Flug um 9:00 am - sprich ich habe überhaupt NICHTS geschlafen. Alles was Hotel machte, sich vorher schon schriftlich für Lärm entschuldigt, Wahnsinn!!! Mein Hotelzimmer war rund 50 Meter direkt neben der Tanz/Musikbühne. So etwas geht gar nicht, speziell wenn fremd-vermietet/organisiert :-( Absolutes NO-GO für Hotelgäste (und ich bin mir Abidjan Lärm/Musik gewöhnt - habe dort über 2 Jahre gelebt...)

Mis dans une chambre ou des travaux était effectué au-dessus. Personnel qui rentre dans la cambre sans frapper à la porte. Inondation depuis le plafond du dessus durant une averse.

Danger to your life. I had 2cm water all over the room from the toilet in the middle of the night in the suite room for 300$ a night. Potential electrical shock plus suitcase incl. clothes spoiled. No reaction from the reception employees. Never again Wafou.

Dear Sir KNESCHKE, After investigation, Please allow me to reply to your comment. Indeed, the water leak in your room came from the toilet tank, it is the first time we have this kind of problem in this room unfortunately, for unknown reason it happens during your stay. We are sorry for that. Regarding the case of electrocution, don’t worry Mr. KNESCHKE, this would not happen. In fact, our sockets are installed 35 cm from the ground and a water leak more important than the one in your room will not exceed this level. In the worst cases, all our rooms have a circuit breaker which stop electricity if there is electrical ground. Regarding the staff, I think that if the problem was mentioned during your stay we would do our best even upgraded you for your satisfaction because the customer comfort is the priority of our staff. Unfortunately the problem was mentioned only during the check-out. I would’ve like met you sooner and discussed this problem with you, so I could help and compensated you for this misadventure. Un cadre vraiment sympa mais attention au Wifi
Le Wafou présente un cadre vraiment sympa.Architecture surprenante, piscine très agréable et personnel très attentionné.Je n’ai pas eu la chance d’avoir une des belles chambres présentée dans les photos de l’hotel et avoue avoir été un peu déçue à l’arrivee. Chambre grande confortable et au calme tout de même. Seul bémol pendant ce séjour,un Wifi très aléatoire,vraiment désagréable lorsqu’on y séjourne pour le travail.Ne pas hésiter à faire appel au technicien pour régler ces soucis d’internet

Hotel Agreable
Hôtel,très agréable . Les chambres sont spacieuses et propre avec une très bonne Wifi . Le personnel de la réception sont très professionnel ( Problème de réception TV , on m'a proposer de changer de chambre) et le service restaurant est très bien ainsi que les plats proposés . La piscine est fort agréable pour un rafraichissement en fin de journée; Peu de chose à faire et à voir aux environs proches de l’hôtel .

Poolhäng dagarna två
Ett härligt avbrott i resan. Hotellet erbjuder ett bra poolområde och har spännande rum. Skick och standard inte att motsvara fyra stjärnor. Dryck och mat ca 6 gånger dyrare än utanför området och motsvarar inte sitt värde. Mycket trevlig personal som väl kompenserar det höga priset. Vill du uppleva riktiga Abidjan bor du inte här, men vill du däremot efterlikna hemmavid är det rätt ställe.
