Abbaye de Whitby

On the first night, we had a fire alarm at 3 a.m. It took the night auditor 30 minutes to turn it off. No complimentary gesture or apology was offered. The hotel is outdated for a 4-star property. The bathroom silicone is moldy, the carpet is stained and needs a deep clean, and the room was very dusty. The reception staff were not helpful, the phone was not working in a room so hard to get the reception.. and when the shower temperature kept going from very hot to very cold. Coffee and tea were not refilled, which is disappointing for a 4-star hotel where better service and cleanliness are expected.

Very nice little property and perfectly situated close to everything. Had an issue with the upstairs TV but was fixed the next morning by the owner.

La chambre etai impecable ,les personnels de la réception très gentil . En bref tout est bien passer.
