"Oarsman’s Bay Lodge is a magical place. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect and better than we could have ever hoped for. The staff are so warm and friendly and there was an amazing range of paid and free activities each day. We were there over Christmas day and the lunch they put on was incredible - they even managed to get turkey! The beach is paradise on earth with the clearest water and most amazing snorkelling. "antastic place to spend your time. Mantaray Island about 3.5 hours from the main island in Fiji in the Yasawa Island group, is a beautiful little hamlet of paradise. I spent 5 nights in a Reef Bure (With AC) an was extremely impressed with the cleanliness and general upkeep. The outdoor bathroom is an absolute highlight with its 3 different light/mood settings at night. The Bure itself was also only 12 step from the beach with its beautiful torquay blue water. Great snorkeling is on offer straight off the beach (High tide only) and a lovely hotel pool for low tide. The Restaurant served amazing meals on a set menu that changed every 2 day’s (B,L,D) and during the day you can swap your lunch meal for a pizza by the pool if you like, the resort also offers diving (Which I didn’t do this time) and a Spa that offers a limited but good range of massages. The Hotel is a cashless hotel, so you don’t need to have a wallet full of cash like I had. Overall this is a very good 4 star operation in the Yasawa group, and I am definitely looking to come back in July-September next year when the Mantaray swim past the Island. "

"The staff was super friendly and helpful. Was really surprised with how great the food was especially the steak. There were plenty of activities to do and were well priced with the non-motorised activity being free. The beach around was very nice and good spots for snorkeling and shell finding. The room was nice with good amenities."
