"We loved our stay here. It really is like staying in a castle. Definitely go for the view rooms if one is available. The breakfast was plentiful and full of choices unique to Greece. Plan to have a drink at the bar. Don’t stay here if you have difficulty with climbing. Lots of steep stone stairs."

"Great place, among olive trees and in a very convenient location. We stayed at a sea view suite that was really spacious and could easily fit a family. Everyone from the hotel was very polite and helpful and the breakfast was full of handmade options. The road to the hotel is not ideal but this is an overall area challenge which you can easily get used to. We definitely recommend Kamares !"

"The Akrotiri Hotel was really good, so much so that we stayed longer than planned. The host Timus was very accommodating explaining that the breakfast was €7 extra per person despite the booking site stating that it was free but the receipt was ambiguous in that respect. The who are was very clean and tidy with fantastic beaches that we had largely to ourselves given it was still early in the season with clean public toilets at most beaches and towns. Regrettably a few inconsiderate camper vans...

"This is a very nice hotel overall (close to town, beautiful grounds, wonderful staff) but it is located on a busy street with ongoing two-wheeler traffic, and the neighbor's dog who barks in the middle of the night. It took us ear plugs and sleeping pills in order to fall asleep. I want to reiterate how nice Maria and her staff was, but the fact remains that if you can't sleep while on vacation, it's a problem!"

"Charmante petite résidence dans les murs.Chambre pour trois avec lit en mezzanine. Vraiment toute une expérience de vivre dans la vieille ville et de passer des soirées au calme lorsque les autobus quittent. Peu ou pas de place de stationnement proche de la porte car il y a du monde jour et nuit garé, et notre auto était à 15-20 minutes de marche à chacune des 3 journées de notre séjour. Soyez préparés à cela, mais ce n'est pas un défaut. Beaucoup d'escaliers à monter et descendre pour s'y...
