"I have travel to many beach resorts. By far this was the best place I have stayed at. What made the stay fun and enjoyable was the staff. Every employee was friendly and outgoing. The front desk was very helpful. Answered any question and was helpful. I could name people but it would be to many, everyone was great. Would love to come back one day. "

At the Kilindi the property is starting to fall apart, there’s paint in the pools that comes off on your body. And for the price your paying they do not suggest or offer any extras . "We stayed 5 nights at this Hotel and it was ok. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. However, we would not consider this a 4-star hotel (but rather a 3-star), nor a resort (no gym, only one small restaurant, no lounge area etc.). "We only stayed one night but we’re surprised there was no phone in the room to contact the receptionist or other hotel services. The room was very clean, though there was no refrigerator in the room. An alarm was constantly ringing throughout the entire night we were there. This was a very inconvenient experience. The alarm was full enough to slow you to fall asleep eventually but we were randomly awaken by the alarm noise a few times during the night. It never completed stopped the entire time...

"Large and airy communal areas. Nice garden with swimming pool. Large room with a/c. Cons/ Essentially an all inclusive hotel for Italians. As non Italian and solo traveller I felt pretty much ignored much of the time. Hotel is a bit out on a limb so tricky if you don’t want to pay to eat at the all inclusive buffet as it’s a bit of a walk in pitch black to get to any bars / restaurants. Dhaka Salaam to beach is handy but now staying in beach front accommodation in Nungwi which is nicer, cheaper...
