"I have been going to Eleuthera for over 20 years. Every home is different and being on a remote island has its challenges for property owners. This home sits on a great beach with plenty of privacy. It was very clean and the check in process was super easy. Some items are worn, but everything works. The bed in the blue bedroom sways and is super soft (the only negative). Awesome view and nice location."

"Well located on the center of the island, 8 min walk to a quiet beach. Super clean apartment, friendly owner. We appreciated the beach chairs we could take along with us. The only disappointment is that we thought from the listing the large balcony facing the ocean would be private and adjacent to our unit, but it is the owner's balcony which we could access. No direct ocean view from our apartment."

"We enjoyed our 10-day stay. The sweet house was everything we expected—Clean, well designed and organized, and close to Governor’s Harbor as well as points north and south. The weather was hotter than we expected, but AC worked well. I especially enjoyed daily “workouts in the small and very clean pool. Jethro, who lives nearby, was particularly helpful with suggestions for restaurants and activities. Highly recommend."

"Barbi is incredible and so quick to respond. The house is absolutely beautiful! The views when you first walk out on the deck are breathtaking. The people that live in town are some of the nicest we’ve ever met. Already want to plan a trip back here!!!"

"This place is perfect for exploring beaches and also having a pool. Located in the middle of the island its convenient to go either North or South. Jethro is hands down the best home owner we have ever rented from. Immediate response in person if needed. Even though right on Banks Rd the privacy is perfect! Looking forward to returning to this beautiful island and will definitely return to Tradewinds!"

"We spent 9 days and had a great time. The home is centrally located just about 7-8 minutes North of Governor's Harbor. We enjoy exploring different beaches and we were able to hit all the best beaches anywhere from 5 - 30 minutes from the house. Deborah (owner) was very responsive to our questions (usually within an hour!) and quite helpful with the home and local tips. "This was our first trip to Eleuthera and we will certainly return! We choose Sky Beach Club for the onsite bar and restaurant and modern facility. Room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Minifridge and full size coffee pit meant we could eat in for breakfast and lunch if we chose. Villa 1 and 2 have lovely views of pool with ocean beyond, yet are secluded behind well maintained landscaping. Pool bar under the watch of Sammy was always a fun place to hang out. Drinks were delicious and Sammy a wealth of knowledge about local happenings. We met many new friends here as you can visit to use the pool if you eat/drink from restaurant. Lobster quesadilla was wonderful! The beach in front of resort is the most beautiful we saw! Almost endless stand of deserted beach. Loved it! Bad points - the road into property is REALLY in poor shape. Go slow and rent a 4 wheel vehicle! Checkin was inattentive. They finally texted us the door code hours after arriving though room was ready. Would have been helpful to drop luggage and see fridge etc before we went to get groceries. Overall a fabulous stay! We will certainly go back! "

"My stay at French Leave was amazing, despite the hiccups encountered on property. There were outages that affected several villas and I was moved to another villa, after encountering some problems. There were issues with wifi and cable issues that stemmes from the service providers. These were my only issues as I sometimes like staying inside and relaxing. The beach at the property is gorgeous and the resort gives you a golf cart upon checking in for getting around. The food at the restaurant on property was excellent and the staff are very attentive and hospitable. I would stay again. "
