The location was so convenient, with lovely shops and restaurants nearby. Our room was clean and neat, but the lobby/check-in area smelled like dog. I have one at home and love them, but you gotta wash the bedding weekly to keep away dog stank.

Most comfortable firm bed ever. Good breakfast and simple room. Met our needs. Walls are thin and people next door drove up at 4:30am and had TV on after. Couldn’t sleep anymore.

This was a unique stay at a reasonable price. Room was clean with some interesting decor. Breakfast was good, though a short walk to the Best Western.

It was a bit inconvenient to have to walk to the sister hotel for check in and for breakfast and to heat my meal in the microwave. The room itself was fine.

We’ve been staying at Aiken’s lodge twice a year for 6 years on our way to & from Arizona. It’s downtown, close to great restaurant’s & shopping. Plus it’s dog friendly.

Cute, but beware of incredibly thin walls
Overall everything was good, cute place, comfortable and clean. The room was huge! Only wish they had microwaves. The taco truck in the driveway makes the place hard to get in and out of without feeling like you’re going to mow down groups of people. I had very noisy neighbors and it sounded like they were right in my room with me, I could hear every conversation, made it hard to sleep. I was upstairs and the floors were incredibly creaky and noisy, felt bad walking around early in the morning because I can only imagine what it sounded like for the people below me. I think being in the single story area may have been better

It was super clean and cute! The shower was super small, and not the greatest.. But overall i would stay there again! Front desk was super nice. We got to walk over to the best western for breakfast, their sister hotel.

The facilities were fine, if aged, but the meeter and greeter was FABULOUS! Interested, helpful, informed, polite and willing to assist in whatever way he could. How refreshing, after a couple of poor experiences at Reception.

Truthful marketing: If your advertise a free breakfast, you need to state that it's NOT on the premises. The coffee maker did not work, but no one is in the office in the mornings

The motel was clean. While they are trying to give a retro 50’s vibe, it was lacking. The room could have been done better. The air conditioning didn’t cool the room. Staff is at the motel only 6 hours a day, so if you needed something it would be a hassle. Pool was nice, nothing fancy. Not sure if I would stay here again, but it was ok

Disappointing but good breakfast waffles
Not terrible but disappointing and over priced for the condition of our room. Walls were paper thin, you could hear every conversation and tv show from the other rooms. There was a weird smell in our room and the window ledges and air conditioning unit was so dirty we didn’t want to turn it on as it would’ve just blown dust and dirt around the room. The breakfast was better than expected though and the staff was nice.

Not my favorite stay
Asked to change room. It had a bad odor and the bathroom counter top was very dirty. They did accommodate us with a different room. Lots of noise from neighboring room we were moved to.

The rooms are older but comfortable stay. Breakfast is at best western and they have a pool and hot tube you may use there too. Overall perfect for a short trip.

What a nice hidden gem. Clean,Comfortable, Comvient, Quiet and very pet friendly! Greeted very nicely and answered all our questions. Highly recommend.

Property is old but clean. Only has someone in office parttime. Have to go to the Bestwestern next door to check out. Breakfast was really good. It was also next door at the bestwestern. For the price I would stay again.

This was a cute, retro hotel. We loved the lighted headboards and retro mini fridge. This place had more than enough outlets to charge all of our devices! It's sister property, just down the street, had a wonderful pool and hot tub as well as an amazing breakfast buffet! I wish we would have been staying more than 1 night! I highly recommend Aikens Lodge!!
