Absolutely stunning hotel, most kind and attentive staff. It feels like a 6 star hotel. Best hotel we stayed in Switzerland, we loved our time in The Omnia. Definitely coming back with our family.

This will officially be my first review. Ive been to a lot of hotels throughout my travels but this place ranks top 3 but will still be the first time I'm moved to leave a review. Every detail was thoughtout and the staff reaching out to me to help with getting to the property from train station was just a blessing after a long travel time. They made the effort at using my name the entire time. Welcomed with a drink and parted ways with chocolate...damn, so good. The views, the vibe and aesthic choices of the property, the center of town location, the people, the mountains, etc...again, I can't say enough. Zermatt was incredible but the hotel ameneties made it difficult to leave sometimes. I would leave early morning to explore and when I started back to the hotel I was equally eager to discover the property again and again. Thank you to the staff for making my first solo trip one of the most amazing trips ever.

The hotel was beautiful—clean and relaxing in a very zen way. What stood out the most was the staff. They were all very friendly, helpful, and courteous. I would highly recommend the property to anyone visiting Zermatt. Great location and delicious breakfasts too!

Room for improvement
I visited the hotel with a party of 8 people in January 2020. We were 4 couples. The people there are super professional and friendly and in general the service is amazing. I have to point out the following cons: -The queen rooms are not so spacious and the bathrooms extremely small. Definitely not a 5-star bathroom. Same goes for double rooms. -we encountered a problem with the heating in all of the rooms and the hotel’s solution was a portable air heater. -Mattresses and Linen don’t match the hotel’s price tag. -There is plenty of room of improvement in the spa-wellness area.For example there is no Hot Tea available in the spa, something very typical for a 5-star mountain Hotel. Also the pool and the jacuzzi were dirty most of the time. -No cigar room or sufficient communal areas. -Poor breakfast buffet, although there are plenty of options to order in the menu.

Dear Ioannis Thank you very much for your kind and detailed review of your stay with us at THE OMNIA. As much as I am thrilled about and truly thankful for your praise of my team and our service, I must admit that it is with concern that I read your points of criticism. Please allow me to answer in equal detail in order to hopefully resolve the issues mentioned. Regarding your room size, you indeed chose to book the smallest room categories (except one double room) Please accept my apologies regarding the heating issue, but normally the 26 degrees prove warm enough for our guests. As the floor heating system needs a bit longer to heat up the rooms, even more, we indeed thought it most efficient to provide you with mobile radiators. As for the mattresses, I would like to point out that as a standard use Tempur-mattresses, many guests actually rave about and even praise them explicitly in their reviews. A night of good and healthy sleep is vital to all of us, so we never would save money on that – on the contrary. I do understand that our guests would prefer beverages offered in our spa area and we already do have finalised reconstruction plans for a more spacious spa with additional amenities. However, I do need to strongly object to any hygienic issues in our wellness area. Not only do we receive best test results from the regular official inspections of water and hygiene, not only do our automatic robotic water & pool cleaners clean the pool each night – in addition to that, I personally check on the pool and jacuzzi repeatedly, several times a day, and would react immediately if anything would be less sparkling clean. THE OMNIA is indeed a non-smoking hotel, and all our guests who wish to enjoy cigars simply ask us for recommendations for the best cigar lounges in Zermatt. We truly would have loved for you to experience them, too. Lastly, please allow me to refer you to the countless raving online reviews of our breakfast buffet as well as our à la carte selection. It certainly is understood that tastes differ, but so many delighted feedbacks guests do make us confident that we offer a truly great start to the day. Remarkable
I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. One of my favorites in the world actually. I have never in my life experienced the type of customer service that I experienced at Omnia.
