"I liked how easily accessible the property was and how the staff were very well versed in tourist attractions and the like. I was helped by Marta when I checked in and she gave me a map with all the places I’d need to go to or tourist and food spots circled in which was very helpful, as well as the transportation links around the city. I just wish there were more options especially with protein at breakfast. It was all pretty much just toast and baked good but some eggs and maybe some sausages...

"Awesome breakfast and a great location. We had an interior room - which was set up nicely. The exterior rooms had amazing views of the Guggenheim. Bilbao is pretty walkable. We could get to main shopping street in 10 mins an to old town in 20\. "

"Great staff, great room for a family and a great location. Well sound proofed room with comfortable beds love the little extras in the room as well. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Minor things, personally like a balcony or an easy way for fresh air would be nice Gym wasn’t great and nothing for kids. Could benefit from doing some kind of evening food but all very minor and a couple of free bottled waters in the room would be fab. "

"Definitely not a 5 star hotel! We booked it because it’s a 5\* that allows dogs. When we arrived, there was no bell person. They only had one person doing the door and they were busy with a large tour bus. When we mentioned it to the two men at the front desk, Guilherme and David, it was brushed off with an arrogance that upset my husband. He asked they tell a manager that a hotel that size should have two door people for a 5 star hotel. One of them went to speak to the female guest services manager, Anya, we came out and carried our 5 pieces of luggage by hand. They didn’t have a cart and the men were useless. She was great. Hotel amenities were crap. No shower cap which is a basic for that calibre of hotel. One ply toilet paper. It just wasn’t good. Breakfast was okay. Snacks at the level were good. Hotel was severely under staffed. We would go back for the dogs and the location. "

"This hotel is extremely stylish - lovely design of the rooms and shared areas. The front of house staff are friendly and helpful. The location is central, close to the main shopping areas and restaurant. But it’s perhaps a little noisy and lively at night time for us. A couple of things let it down. Spa and pool access comes at a cost, we were told €20 for one hour. Also our room turndown was poor. They hung up towels left on the floor and didn’t leave clean ones, the bed was not well made and they didn’t refresh the water. For a 5\* property, you’d expect more."
