Nice hotel with room for improvement
The hotel is small and charming, it was extremely clean and located just a few meters from the beach. My two complaints have to do with the lack of A/C or at least a fan, as it was extremely hot that weekend and our room was in the basement, with no air circulation. This made it hard to sleep at night. The second complaint has to do with the shower drain. It was clogged and although we called to have it fixed, nothing was done about it. We ended up digging the hairs out of the drain ourselves and the problem was solved, but it should have been taken care of by the staff.

First of all we got lectured because we arrived "too late". It was 7:15pm and check-in latest time is 9pm according to the website. When asking about the 8€ parking mentionned here we got told there never was a parking avertised and that we may have mixed up two hotels in our heads. We're not stupid thanks I know what I've read here! For the price (120€ a night) I expect a better service and maybe a smile, not false advertisment and being told I can't read. Now the room. It was clean and tidy, I have to admit that. But this kind of price for a room with just a bed, a bathroom and a fridge who isn't working is really not okay in my opinion. Yep, not even a chair in the room... Extremly practical for a beach hotel. I haven't even talked about the rules you can find in the room, which are basically a list of threats about all the different fines or problems you can get in the hotel for being drunk for example or owning perfectly legal stuff in the Netherlands. I mean I understand they sometimes get drunk or high people from amsterdam but come on. If I wanted all those threatening rules jail is a cheaper option. Oh and the last rule is that you shouldn't complain elsewhere and tell your problems to the owners but hey I don't really like being talked to like I'm stupid when I paid twice the rate for a small room compared to the other cities in the area.

Almost feels like a bed and breakfast
This is a very cute hotel just across the street from the beach. The hotel is right on the main road through Zandvoort, and is very easy to find and get around from. Close to a supermarket, and restaurants. The breakfast is typical European; meats & cheeses. The owners are extremely nice and helpful. The check-in time was strict, in my case. No access to the hotel unless you have already checked in, which gave a sense of security. I would stay again for one or two nights.

Sehr zentrales und sauberes Hotel
Noch am Vortag wurde ich angerufen, wann ich denn am nächsten Tag anreisen möchte. Ich solle bitte 15 Minuten vor meiner Ankunft anrufen, damit man mich einchecken kann, eine Rezeption in dem Sinne gibt es nämlich nicht. Parkplätze sind vor der Tür vorhanden, allerdings sind diese kostenpflichtig. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Allerdings war es sehr hellhörig, was mich meinen kompletten Schlaf gekostet hat, da jeder, der Nachts auf der Straße gesprochen hat, zu hören war.
