Mattress is very hard, room is spotless though furnishings are a little worn. The hotel location is excellent with breathtaking views. There is direct access to both the town side and the wharf. The rooms are very clean and there are excellent powerful showers and comfortable beds. Bicycles are available for free for guests. There are some niggles: the property is a bit dated - think 1990s high end - some of the plumbing/ flushing temperamental and a couple of staff less friendly than we got used to in Taiwan. Some may not like the design of the room where you have to go through the bathroom to get to the sleeping area. Ideal location even with a few parking spaces (we were lucky). But the hotel does not offer dinner since the chef ran away a few years ago. There is also no bar were to get a relaxing drink. Room service - forget it.
