  • Le logement se compose de 2 granges aménagées indépendantes - la grange rouge et la maison de foin. Il existe également des installations de loisirs sous forme de tennis de table, salle de fitness et sauna.
    The Red Barn dort (15) et The Hay House dort (11). Les maisons sont situées sur les côtés opposés d'une cour commune - elles sont donc voisines mais indépendantes les unes des autres. En tant que tels, ils sont adaptés pour recevoir soit un seul groupe de jusqu'à (26) - ou deux groupes plus petits qui ne se connaissent pas.

    La grange rouge

    Chambre principale en suite - lit double & lit superposé - 4 couchages.
    Deuxième chambre en suite - lit double - 2 couchages.
    Troisième chambre en suite - triple superposé (2 down 1 up) et lit simple - dort (4).
    Contingence en bas - canapé-lit double - couchages (2).
    Véranda - lit double et banquette-lit simple - pour 3 personnes.


    La maison Hay: -

    Chambre principale en suite - lit double - 2 couchages.
    Deuxième chambre - 3 x lits simples - pour 3 personnes.
    Troisième chambre - lits superposés - pour 2 personnes.
    Quatrième chambre - lit double + futon simple + lit simple - 4 couchages (plafond bas H 1. 6 m maximum).


    Entre les granges converties, il y a une salle de fitness qui contient une table de ping-pong, un tapis roulant, une station de musculation multi-gym, 2 x vélos d'exercice et une table de billard junior. Cette facilité est incluse dans le tarif.
    À côté de la salle de fitness, il y a un sauna qui est inclus dans les tarifs de groupe le week-end et qui peut être réservé à 20 £ pour une session de deux heures pour (4) personnes.
    Le Red Barn dispose d'un parking privé pour (3) voitures à l'arrière et (1) espace en bordure de route à l'avant. La Hay House possède son propre parc pour (6) voitures à l'arrière.
    Les deux maisons ont des terrasses extérieures.

    Les installations de lavage sont vastes. Toutes les (3) chambres de The Red Barn sont en-suite et il y a une autre douche au rez-de-chaussée. (1) chambre à coucher dans The Hay House est en-suite et il y a aussi une autre douche au rez-de-chaussée. Le sauna a sa propre douche qui peut être mise à la disposition des occupants de The Hay House. Il y a une porte de communication entre les deux bâtiments.

    La grange rouge a une cuisine / salle à manger particulièrement grande et ouverte avec une grande table à manger rectangulaire pouvant accueillir (14) personnes. Il a accueilli de nombreuses réunions de famille et fêtes. De grandes portes s'ouvrent de cette pièce sur le patio afin que jusqu'à (30) personnes puissent se réunir confortablement.

    La propriété est située dans le village de Tollerton dans une ruelle calme. York est à quinze minutes en voiture. Les stations balnéaires de la côte Est de Scarborough, Whitby et Bridlington sont accessibles en un peu plus d'une heure. Les Yorkshire Dales sont à une distance similaire dans la direction opposée.

    Le village possède un pub, un magasin général et un terrain de sport avec des courts de tennis et un parc pour les tout-petits.

    La petite ville de marché d'Easingwold est éloignée de (4) miles. Il a de nombreux pubs, boutiques et restaurants.

We had an incredible stay at the red barn and hay house for mine and my partners joint pre wedding celebration with our friends. The place is lovely and so much nicer than in the pictures, we were thrilled when we arrived. The big kitchen and dining table in the red barn was perfect for us all having meals together and the outside furniture was lovely to sit around in as we were very lucky with the weather! The place was spotless and the hosts were so helpful.

We visited for the May Bank holiday. Excellent large property for our group of 23 (including 13 kids aged 5-15). Fun games room and large kitchen in red barn for gathering together for meals. Everything we needed was provided. Situated in a lovely village (with a well-stocked, independent village shop) with many beautiful places to visit nearby (we went to Fountains Abbey on a lovely sunny day).

Perfect accommodation for large group, lots of comfortable beds and plenty of showers and toilets. Spacious and clean communal areas and a nice outside seating area that gets sun most of the day. Really well stock, cutlery, pots, pans, glasses, cleaning equipment, we only needed to bring our food. Lots of entertainment on site as well. The owner was also very helpful.

Easter stay

Fabulous properties, comfortable surroundings and excellently stocked with everything you could need. Great walks and only 15 minutes drive into York. Great pub on the corner of the street….enjoyed by all!

The house was really clean and spacious. The sauna was fantastic ! Comfy beds, great communication with owners. And the pub across the road was great for a few drinks.

Lovely family get together

We booked two barns to celebrate New Year and my retirement with family. It was a really large space for us all. We had a great stay. Only downside was the barns need a bit of updating. Otherwise perfect for us all.

Large family Christmas Gathering

A great weekend of 22 family members (aged 14 - 59) meeting to spend time and have fun together. Space easily accommodated us all although some couples had to share a bedroom which was okay for us but may not be okay for everyone. The barns were very warm and well furnished. The showers were hot and powerful and the towels were soft. There was nothing missing. We spent a lot of time sat around the large dining table - eating, chatting and craft making. Kitchen was clean and had everything you needed to cook. There was also a lovely large sitting area where we could enjoy family party games. A handy mini supermarket was walking distance and a short drive to the park and ride to York where we had a fantastic day out. All in all a great weekend. The in laws decided straight away they were going to book it again for their side of the family to enjoy for a different weekend away.

A beautiful place and great hosts

We had a wonderful time for my 50th birthday, hiring the hay house and red barn together. None of us wanted to leave. The property is in great condition, responsive and helpful hosts and a lovely location. Thanks Steve, we hope to visit again one day. Highly recommended.

Fantastic stay for a Stag Do

18 of us stayed at the Red Barn and Hay House for a stag do, and it was the perfect accomodation for the occasion. Plenty of rooms, all clean and with comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchens and a games room and gym for great entertainment. Just 20 minutes into York by taxi but located in a quiet village means that you get all the benefits that York provides while still being able to get away from the noise of the city. There's also plenty of parking so it's easy to access by car. Communication from the owner was excellent, lots of really useful information and very quick responses. There are plenty of books and toys for children so it's also a great place to stay for large family get-togethers. I'd highly recommend Red Barn and Hay House for trip away near York.

Family staycation

Lovely property, the photos don’t do it justice. The host Steve lives on the same grounds as the property who is very friendly and responds to text/emails very efficiently. We had a family staycation which included adults and children of varying ages and it suited all.
