"The staff was really friendly and helpful. The location was away from the city but along the river Ous. Tons of history in this area, plus there were bakery’s and markets near by. The last day we found a hiking trail that went for miles (Pennine Way). One could have city walks or hiking from the same place."

"This was a reasonably priced hotel with a well decorated, clean and spacious room. The only thing that would have added to the experience would have been a comfy chair as opposed to the dining room-type chair in the bedroom. The staff were friendly and the restaurant served good food."

"We stayed at the holiday inn for an overnight visit to york.. the staff were welcoming & friendly. We had booked a walk-in shower room as i am a mobility scooter user. When we got to the room it was smaller than what we had booked.. the staff apologised & very quickly sorted out a more accessible room it was well maintained.. We didnt eat in the hotel in the evening but had booked breakfast for the following day.. the food was plentiful. Well presented & hot there was also a very good choice..we were parked around the side/back of the hotel it wasn't an issue as there is access into the hotel from thethis was our 1st time staying in an IHG holiday Inn & it won't be our last.. thank you Tadcaster Road York"
