Everyone at the hotel were super friendly and helpful. As a foreigner, it's very inconvenient to book tickets for the National forest without a Chinese phone number. The hotel owner took care of everything and also helped us build an itinerary. This was crucial as the ones you find online are very confusing. And because she actually hikes in the park frequently, she can customize it to your needs and the weather. The views you get from the hotel is also exceptional.

Most amazing location: the view is absolute breathtaking. Miss Storage Space in the ropm. Good breakfast

Overall, this is a great option for us. The negatives: Our room has mold on the wall, smells a bit like someone smoked in there and the floor boards were not all connected. The pool was beautiful but it had a tarp on so we couldn’t get in. The positives: The room had a panoramic view of the mountains. They provided plenty of bottled water each day. The staff was warm and welcoming. They helped us planned our trip, got tickets, etc. They gave us rides to and from the middle gate (south east gate) of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park which was extremely convenient. They also provided a one way ride either from or to the hotel.They provided free laundry service. (We had a long trip and had loads of laundry.) Their breakfast was great and had a great variety of western and Asian choices. We noticed they specially made soup noodles for customers based on different dietary restrictions. We would stay here again. The customer service was just top notched.

Great place, well located near of the park east entrance (10 mins walk). Spacious room and room amenities (just be careful with the step next to the bed). Special mention to the hotel manager/concierge and staff. Helpful attentive and knowledgeable about the area and really valuable help in organizing your days ( special mention to Sunny…. The heart of the place).
