I can say without doubt this was the most comfortable, clean, roomy, well maintained and beautifully renovated accommodation I have EVER stayed in. The staff were super friendly. The breakfast was exquisite. The pub itself is charming and the dinner menu full of local produce and the meal I had was delicious. I was worried about where to park the car in such a tiny village but there is a big car park at the back. Some confusion over breakfast times with the landlord which got resolved but best to make it clear breakfast is not served until 9am if a business traveller this is too late. (i was asked if i stay in country pubs and i do 47 so far this year) Food was good quality i loved the chicken bites delicious. The room was great , very clean , quality fixtures and fittings. Bed very comfortable, quality bed linens. Spacious ensuite , plenty of hot water with good water pressure in the shower. Showe gel , shampoo and towels all provided. We had a lovely meal in the evening , 3 course special menu was great value. Great breakfast provided in the morning. Team at the inn were friendly and welcoming.
