Not on the slopes but a small walk. Older style lodge with character. Very friendly owners and staff (have run the lodge for 45 years). Great to stay in a property that has history and feels Japanese (rather than a spartan modern hotel). Make a great bowl of Udon noodles. The bunk beds are solid as rocks made of wood and are very spacious and comfortable.
