They always had fresh coffee on hand, too. The room had a bit of a musty smell. The location was one of the most rundown areas in Yakima. I would be willing to stay there again. Rooms seemed to be clean and decent. I was met with arguments and hostility when checking in because they were missing key information (I paid online in full and tried to get me to pay again). The other guests were questionable but quiet. The outlets were loose so our electronics didn’t get a good charge. I liked that the room doors were inside for a bit more security. The display showed clean and somewhat updated room. Our room was had 70s wood paneling on the wall old carpets with cigarette burns patched walls with no paint, wholes in the bedding and what I can only assume was a crack pipe by the night stand. The property is in an unsafe location in Yakima. It is surrounded by homeless people and drug addicts. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. But I ended up moving hotels right after I checked in and asked for a refund. The rooms say No Smoking but clearly people smoke in them. By the time my daughter and I checked out our eyes and lungs were burning. When I turned on the water in the shower it was brown at first.
