On vrbo app, listing stated that check in instructions are emailed 3 days before check in - I had to call and text the host the day before. All he had to do was respond with,”I send them the night before” if that was the case. Note that there are no toiletries."

"We were driving from Texas to Arizona and stopped for the evening. The house was a very cute, pet friendly home. It had a lot of space. The mattresses were a little too firm. Had we not been as tired as we were, I don’t think that we would have been able to sleep as easily. There was fur all over the pillows and blankets in the Master bedroom. We figured with the extra fee that is charged for cleaning after a pet that the beds would have been cleaner than they were. That was very disappointing. We were not able to find the thermostat in the home. It should have been easier to find. It was very late and we did not want to bother the owners and ended up sleeping in a cold home. "
