"This was the loveliest motel I have ever stayed in! The room was very well maintained, spotless and decorated with taste. It had a modern feel which has been a rarity in most of the motels I have stayed in. I had everything needed in the room: Wi-Fi, TV, microwave, a fridge and a coffee maker which made the stay very comfortable. There was also a pool outside however it was off season so it was closed. The staff was super nice and helpful. The location was great: just a short drive to the center of town as well as the Luray caverns and close to the entrance of the Shenandoah national park which was fantastic for hiking. This place is just a gem!"

"Luray is a relaxing place meant for enjoying the beauty of the Blue Ridge mountains, the Shenandoah Valley, and a slower pace. There is adventure in fishing, rafting, hiking, and biking. There are no Gallerias or Malls. It is lovely and refreshing. The Mimslyn is perfect. The breakfast in the Circa 31 room is exceptional. The dinner and a drink in the Speakeasy is well done and much appreciated after a day exploring the area. We spent time fishing the South Fork Shenandoah and then came “home” to our base at the Mimslyn. Core memories."

"Very Cute, clean and cozy! We had a great time! Only downfall is you run out of hot water pretty fast, so shower quickly! Calm, peaceful surroundings, and a walking trail if you choose to venture away from your campsite"

"Everything was amazing! We actually left another hotel because it was dirty and didn’t feel safe. We found this place randomly during our drive and couldn’t have been happier. The room was spotless, the staff was friendly, and we had a great night’s sleep."

"Late March travel. Found no one at front desk when we arrived. Coffee maker in room and in lobby east working. Restaurant for breakfast wasn’t open."

"The hotel is fine, nothing fancy of course as that's not expected. However, our key cards did not consistently work so I had to go down to the front desk twice. Also, the ice machine is on the 1st floor, and I prefer it be on the same floor as our room."
