"Faraway Hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located to everything. I booked somewhat last minute for our 10-year anniversary. Since there were no king rooms available, I booked a double room and sent a note requesting to waitlist a king room. To our surprise, the hotel graciously upgraded us to a beautiful two-bedroom suite. That gesture alone made our stay incredibly special. We were also welcomed with a bottle of wine and a handwritten note wishing us a happy 10-year anniversary. The level of thoughtfulness and hospitality was exceptional. The staff were friendly, the entire property was immaculately clean, the décor was beautiful, and the hotel smelled amazing. Every detail felt intentional and top-tier. I highly recommend this hotel, and I plan to return for my next MV visit. Faraway and staff made our anniversary even more special. Thank you!"

"This hotel was a nightmare, we had room 147 and the door hinge is not screwed in properly so the door was creaking every 30 seconds all night, there were stains on the pillows and sheets, all the walls were scraped and scratched like a horror movie. None of the ice machines worked, no breakfast, and when I went to get coffee this morning the trash from yesterday was just sitting on the table next to the machine and cups. We were grossed out. Also the guy at the front desk talked so softly I actually said “what, can you repeat that?” At least 10 times and he did not speak louder it was really weird. Don’t stay here. "

"Upon there were some mistakes with check in - they owned up to the debacle, the staff corrected and made sure our weekend experience at the sea crest resort was memorable. What I would say is that there is a trend on placing your stay with 3rd party guest on And getting the low quality of rooms available Not with this resort but others as well So what deal are you really getting ?"

"I LOVED this place. Overall, I didn't fall in love with Martha's Vineyard, but I LOVED, LOVED LOVED this hotel. The spa was incredible, the pool was amazing, the room was comfortable...they had everything I could want. But the STAFF really made the experience over the top. I loved interacting with them. They were helpful, friendly, made excellent recommendations for food. Our room was always clean. If you go to Martha's Vineyard ... Stay HERE!"
