"This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. "This place was amazing. It has been lovingly converted into accommodation with so much attention to detail that you don’t want to leave. The additional Christmas decorations were super cute and appreciated as well as the full service kitchen (with coffee and milk), games and fabulous top floor 360°window to watch the sunrise/sunset, wildlife etc. Highly recommend a stay here. "

"Really enjoyed our stay. Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. We stayed in a Clive double cell and it felt very spacious. Nice bathroom with a separate shower and tub. High quality linens and towels were thick and plush and generous sized. Good location, close to the station and walkable to everything. Breakfast is pricey but very nice. Service excellent "

"We had a great one night stay. The hotel was a short walk from the station and we were able to check in as soon as we arrived as a room was ready. Room was lovely, a nice temperature. The breakfast was very good lots of choice. Staff were very friendly. The hotel was in a great position just a short walk to the centre. Would recommend."
