Felt like stepping into a different era, in all the good ways. Room was big and comfy and full of amenities. Grounds are extensive and naturally serene. My kids and I had to park in their parking lot and search for a place to stay that night at 5pm. Now this is showing up on my bank statement so tomorrow I have to fight this charge with my bank. Horrible service. It’s like you’re on the set of Dirty Dancing. Charming, vast, and green and lush. But the inside of the room we stayed in didn’t ’t have the same charm. It was basic, which is fine but the resort could really lean into the vintage vibe and have the rooms be throw back on purpose and that would be so cool. We had a good steak and nice service at the steak house. But the bartender never wore a mask. Only the server. It’s not hard to follow state mandate and wear a mask. Needs a few updates with things such as the blinds were broken.
