The property was so handy for us to stay in Windsor, Canada, to go across the border to the USA, to go to the stadium to watch a Blue Jays versus the Detroit Tigers baseball game. The property staff was great, the room reasonably clean and they are definitely in the middle of upgrading the hotel property in many ways.

The property was being newly renovated. Rooms were quiet, comfortable, and pleasant. Check in and check out process was easy. Not sure why there was a need for a $200 deposit when I had prepaid for the night.

We arrived at the hotel just after 2:00 pm on the day of our check in. We were told that an additional $20 Plus taxes would be charged since we were checking in before the standard check in time of 3:00 pm. We explained to the lady at the front desk that we had travelled almost 8 hours and were there to attend a funeral and needed to get ready. Her reply was that she couldn’t do anything as the fee is automatically charged. Our room was ready when we arrived and there did not appear to be many other guests staying there. Not sure why our arriving less than one hour before check in would cause the hotel any real expense. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations and the hallways were full of unboxed furniture and very dusty. It was evident that our room had been remodelled however the door was very difficult to open (maybe the paint did not completely dry) There is no signage on the outside or the building that even indicates that it is a Howard Johnson. Very disappointing stay.

I love the close proximity to TimHortons! Thank you for finding us a ground floor room. Breakfast is great! The staff is great, considerate and helpful. The rooms are big and newly renovated. Great 2 day stay for us. Thanks!

Very clean and friendly staff. Property under construction, but it was ok. Everything is new which is perfect, It will be amazing once it’s completed. Parking was ok and there’s a Tim Hortons right next store which was a bonus. They do have a breakfast available which is nice. I will definitely stay here again 😃

The building was under renovation. We unfortunately stayed in the old part. Our room definitely needed upgrades. The bathroom was very old and dated. If we stay again we will request to be in the renovated rooms.

The washroom door lock did not work. The washroom faucet handle was loose and kept on coming apart. Disappointing breakfast items, did not have any egg. They charge extra 20$ for even half an hour check in. It’s an irony that they charge $ 200 deposit as insurance of any breakage when their facilities are already in bad condition.

Our room was beautiful. However it is under construction. They are working hard on the inside. I'm assuming they will work on the outside eventually. Don't be dissuaded by the exterior. This is our second time back and we will come back again. Never heard any construction. They must be ninjas.

Our room was newly renovated so everything was clean and shiny and very modern looking! We asked for extra towels and the lady at the front desk got them immediately! She was very sweet and lovely and friendly and she also gave us advice about what things to do and directions and where to go! We loved the service! 5 star rating from this family! 😘

It was nice and quiet, with some food options nearby for quick pickup options. Staff was nice and friendly, and always available. Over all great place to stay, will reuse this hotel again on my future visits to Windsor.

Good value, is under renovation, was in the old shabby part of the hotel, room was clean and adequate, but bathroom had a rusty metal part in the wall from a missing soap holder in the shower, ok breakfast, walls seemed a bit thin and could hear some doors and voices but nothing too disturbing, staff were friendly and efficient, but once the rest is finished being renovated will be much better I think, as long as the prices remain the same (?)

We were in a refurbished room that was outstanding, with amazing beds. It is under construction, but it did not take away from the experience. It was very convenient and one family member was happy to be beside a Tim Horton's. My only concern was how dark the parking lot around the building was. I will gladly be back anytime I come to town to visit family.

Was down beat and receptionist said nothing, refused to stay there & asked for an alternate room, so as to not be charged here (i.e. late cancellation) & still go elsewhere. Got an upgraded space for ( $20) which I was very thankful was available. It was decent for a nights rest, unlike the other section… Pls don’t give rooms with dirty rugs… to customers with no heads up… Thank you

2 Star at the most. Hallways were dirty with little bits of debris and wasn't cleaned during our 2 night stay. Dated decor. Staff were freindly & helpful though.
