"We had terrible weather and the beach was closed the whole time we were there but not even that could dampen our spirits as the hotel was fantastic!. We stayed in the Thani wing in an ocean view junior suit. We weren’t on a package but we found each of the food outlets to be reasonable. We travelled with our 7 year old and he absolutely loved. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful - food was amazing - facilities excellent. It was so good we had planned to stay in another hotel in Khao lak for a week after our stay but we stayed only one night and went back to Katathani. Definitely recommend it to others!"

"Our stay at The Shore at Katathani was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with exceptional hospitality and breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea. The villa was stunning—private, spacious, and beautifully designed. Waking up each morning to the ocean view and enjoying sunsets from our own pool felt like a dream. The property is immaculately maintained, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation and romance. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Every interaction was warm, professional, and genuinely caring. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the resort’s restaurants offered excellent food and unforgettable views. The Shore is the perfect destination for couples looking for a luxurious and peaceful getaway. Between the beautiful beach, amazing service, and incredible scenery, this was truly one of the best resort experiences we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to return."

"I stayed at Navatara Phuket for 26 days and it genuinely became a home away from home. It is a really nice, aesthetic hotel with a clean, traditional design that provides a great environment to relax. The room was very comfortable. Being tall, I appreciate a good-sized bed, and this one was great. Having a balcony was a nice addition, and the provided umbrella was a practical touch. The AC was strong and the shower was excellent—perfect for recovery after training. Housekeeping kept the room spotless and topped up my coffee and water every day. The food is a strong point. There is a nice selection of dishes with good local taste at reasonable prices. They use fresh, clean ingredients, making it easy to find healthy, high-protein options that fit my strict dietary requirements. The staff really stood out. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially the ladies at reception. The location is extremely practical. Phuket Muay Thai is just around the corner, which was ideal. There is a 7/11 next door, alongside a fruit stand and an ATM. It is only a 5 to 10-minute walk to Rawai Beach, restaurants, and massage spots. Navatara Phuket delivered an excellent balance of comfort and quiet. It served as the perfect base in Rawai—peaceful enough for genuine physical recovery, yet highly accessible. I highly recommend it for a refined, high-quality stay in Phuket."

"Pros: great location, lovely pools, grounds like a small oasis . Room big - dated but clean . Nice size balcony. Nice atmosphere , friendly staff . Laundry on site which is a godsend - the lady in there is amazing . Clean towels and bedding in the room daily. Cons : As lovely as the grounds are the pool area could do with a jet wash (pool cleaned often I must add) The loungers, umbrellas , patio need attention . There seems to be one maintenance guy doing all and I don’t think there’s enough hours in the day to do all . Breakfast - just weird . Staff in there try but cups, Cuttlery , butter etc run out often . Breakfast is like a full Asian meal but you can get an egg/omelette. Again the floor and windows in the breakfast room could do with a good wash . Expedia needs to update the details of the hotel - there is no roof terrace or bar , the beach across the road is not for sunbathing - it’s where the long tail boats moar (still beautiful) There is no winery attached to the hotel for wine tasting ?? Strange thing to put as wine is very expensive there - 30% import tax. We were a family of 13 - even though there’s not a lot of loungers etc it’s no problem , people come and go , including us, throughout the day to go on trips - it literally is a hotel to meet ! The nearest beach with loungers etc is Nai harn beach - 200bht in a grab , which has beach bars (very nice it is too) Despite the few negatives , we would definetly stay at this hotel again . Its value for money"
