Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Located in central Windermere, in the heart of the Lake District, is this characterful and deceptively spacious four-bedroom property, that sleeps six. The property includes a private integral parking space, set beneath the first floor and accessed through a secure gate. Internally you will find a generously sized living area, separate dining room, and a well equipped kitchen. Downstairs at the rear, there is a very spacious bedroom, with ensuite shower room and Pool Table. Upstairs you will find the family bathroom, as well as a bedroom with bunk beds, a double bedroom with en-suite, and an additional double bed. Externally there is a small enclosed yard at the rear, with a small table, and seating for two.  
  
Windermere offers the perfect base for exploring everything this stunning national park has to offer. Just a short stroll from the famous lake, you can enjoy scenic cruises, paddleboarding, kayaking, or hiring a rowing boat for a peaceful glide across the water with breathtaking fell views all around. Nearby Bowness-on-Windermere is a vibrant town packed with things to do. Enjoy local pubs, charming cafés, and independent shops, or visit the World of Beatrix Potter to step into the magical world of Peter Rabbit. You can also catch a lake steamer here to Ambleside or Lakeside,perfect for a relaxing day out.  
  
Walking routes for all abilities begin right from your doorstep. The gentle climb to Orrest Head rewards you with one of the most iconic views in the Lakes, while more experienced hikers can drive to nearby trails for Fairfield Horseshoe, Loughrigg Fell, or even further afield to Scafell Pike. For cyclists, the quiet country lanes and challenging fell roads offer plenty of variety, and there are also several places nearby to hire bikes. After a day out, Windermere village offers a great choice of places to eat, from traditional Cumbrian pubs to stylish bistros and pizzerias.
