This apartment is on the second floor, with a balcony looking out to the fells in the distance. There is ample parking in a private car park. It is within easy reach of the world-famous Beatrix Potter Museum and all the pubs that can be found in Bowness. An extra hundred meters, and you will find yourself on the shore of Lake Windermere. On arrival followed instructions for parking but there was no parking space available, contacted agent who said it was a known problem was told to park in public car park that was also full. After a 5 half hour drive, you just want to relax, not go looking for parking. It means every time you go out do not expect a parking space on your return.The flat could do with a deep clean especialy the cooker and hob, do the agents ever check it? The location is ideal, the flat is small and access is via narrow concrete steps, that would not be suitable for anyone with limited mobility. Very nice 2 bedrom apartment on 2nd floor with ample parking. Literally a one minute walk to the centre of Bowness-on-Windermere - the location could not have been better: the Co-op is on your doorstep and there is a selection of great dining (do visit the Flying Pig pub and Porto restaurant!). The facilities within the apartment are brilliant, very clean and modern, all that was needed for our family. The beds were really comfy and the bedding provided was lovely and fresh.
