  • Situated on the outskirts of the historic market town of Wimborne and just a 25 minute drive from the Poole and Sandbanks coastline, Owen Sound has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms all with complimentary towels and Egyptian cotton bedding. Huge open plan kitchen and snug overlooking 3 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. Cosy lounge with huge TV and 3 sofas, open plan dining area seating up to 12, 3 ground floor bedrooms and 3 bedrooms on the first floor. Huge garden with large patio area and dedicated pavilion boasting indoor heated swimming pool with shower/changing room.
    Plenty of parking in a very peaceful location.

Well-presented and equipped house. We enjoyed celebrating the 4 family occasions there that week with our family of 10, 6 adults and 4 children aged 10-13 years. We especially appreciated the pool, the generous space indoors and out, the cleanliness, the large kitchen area and equipment. Good location, country walks on the doorstep and nearby towns and coast. We found Wimborne a lovely place to shop and eat out. Christina was easy to contact and very helpful.

The host Christina from the offset was a great communicator. I had 12 of us to organise for a hen do and Christina made this an easy process by answering queries quickly with all the information you could possibly need. The house is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous surroundings, really has the wow factor. It is equipped with everything you can think of and need. Every room was super clean and the pool was especially clean. We all enjoyed every minute of the stay and would have stayed longer if we could! We are already thinking of booking for next year.

Absolutely beautiful property, immaculate inside and out. The outside space and swimming pool made our stay all the more special and our dog loved it. The layout of the property was perfect for our extended family of 12. Contact with the host was immediate with any question answered within minutes. The WOW factor was as said.. WOW a great venue for the whole family. Really spacious and as described a lush space to relax. Only complaint was from our party who used the doubles (except the master). [One downstairs and one upstairs (front) .. the mattress's were not comfortable at all, the springs felt through the beds and gave awful nights sleep.. The attention to detail actors the property was good except that feature, Well equipped kitchen, good living space with plenty of room for the whole family.

Big birthday celebration

Wonderful holiday house with just about everything you could wish for. The pool was a great hit with the children (and big children!) and there was plenty of room in the house for our family games. We loved it.

My family really enjoyed staying at this beautiful home. The pool added wonderful, dependable fun every day for the 4 boys aged 9,8,6,40. Plenty of age appropriate outdoor equipment and lots of yard space including a beautiful secret garden.The house had plenty of dishe/glasses/etc and two fridges. The large jetted thawed out its userd after a long day outdoors at local sites.

Great house

We enjoyed a weekend in Dorset using this house as a base. We enjoyed the garden and the pool. Only suggestion is that the music system in the house needs an update.

This spacious and comfortable home was perfect for us seven adults and four children celebrating New Year's. The indoor pool was the highlight, naturally. The pool is in a separate, locked building, which was very important to us. It is nicely heated and there were pool toys available. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. The host provided a travel cot and highchair, which were very much appreciated. The grounds of the home are lovely and it close to Kingston Lacy and other lovely places.

Girls 30th weekend

A group of 12 stayed at own sound to celebrate turning 30 this year- and it was the perfect place to stay. Quietly tucked away, huge gardens, a clean and warm pool and a beautiful house. Even nicer than all of the pictures! The hosts thought of everything and it suited our trip perfectly. Would definitely reccomend to a group of friends or family, hopefully we will be back!

Friends Trip

We stayed for a long weekend as a group of 12 and we’re blown away by the property. A beautiful venue with lots of socialising space, well equipped and a large pool (which was well heated). Christina was fantastic and was easy to get a hold of if we needed her. Would definitely recommend!

A lovely time was had by all, the check in was good, there is plenty of china, cutlery, dishes etc.We used the BBQ which was a success.The outside space was brilliant the kids loved it. We had to work out how to switch on the integrated coffee machine, once we had managed that we ran out of coffee beans, there were none to refill.The chlorine level in the pool seemed to be very high, there were a lot of sore eyes.

Fantastic Property

We stayed for two nights at Owen Sound and were super impressed with the property and facilities. The house was immaculately clean and the gardens beautifully kept. The house was well equipped and even small details had been thought about. We had a couple of small queries which were answered promptly by the owner. We really couldn’t have asked for a better place for our stay. In fact we were so delighted we were looking to book again for later this year, but sadly the property was already booked.
